AWS S3 is object level storage and it is not a block level.. how it supports parallel processing please? Also please tell me how spark reads and does parallel processing with file which is stored in normal file system

Really spark is faster than hive ..both jobs take same execution time. Any input on this?

Hi Manoj, Yes spark is faster the hive(Tez) jobs , with less volume of data with more machine resources will results you the same execution time sometimes. also depends on the hive table design, will make a separate video for spark and hive performance difference with a small POC.
