I didn’t even notice this on my first time hearing this song, but every part is a different Afton: “I believed that I was safe, and that I would never die. Now I’m all alone, I’ve been hiding in the dark. I just want to go home, but my deeds sent me too far” This is William Afton. He thought himself to be immortal. That he could never be stopped. But after he was trapped in the Spring Bonnie suit, he was left in the dark. Now he wishes he could go back, but he has come too far. Everything he did led him to where he is now, and he can never be who he was again. “I often do pretend, can’t you see I’m broken down? I wish this were the end, but I continue I vow.” This one is a little hard, but I think this is Elizabeth. She pretends, which we learn in Sister Location. She will keep trying to please her father, and fulfil her vow. This could also be Mrs. Afton, but we know nothing about her, so eh. “I never did go near, cause I know just what I saw. Yet on that day of joy, my life ended to their flaws. Now I’m all alone, fighting monsters in the dark. I wish that I could live, but I fear I’ve gone too far.” This one is the most obvious. It’s Crying Child. He never went close to the animatronics because of what he saw. Maybe his sister’s death to baby? Maybe his father killing someone? Maybe something else entirely? Fighting monsters in the dark is FNAF 4 and the nightmare animatronics that crying child had to face. “Always begging please, yet the outcome I would dread. I have fallen to my knees, let my pride get to my head. Now I’m alone, hearing whispers in the dark. I wander through the past, seeing memories afar” This is Michael. He got cocky. He let his pride get to his head, and became a jerk. This led to his brother, Crying Child, getting killed. This led him to feeling so guilty, that he promised to wander through the past by going through all the Freddy’s locations to pay for his father’s crimes by freeing the souls. While doing this, he sees his memories afar. Everything that Afton did, and how he himself killed his brother. He is reminded of it constantly. “We can only roam, when the monster’s put to rest. I just want to go back home, and get rid of all this stress” This is every animatronic possessed by Afton’s victims. The monster is William. Even though they aren’t part of the family, they still had their lives destoryed by the Patriarch of the Afton Family. His victims.

I think the last one is supposed to be Ballora, we know that she’s scared of the scooper, hence the stress. And the “We can only roam when the monster’s put to rest” reminds me of when the two technicians were killed. In Ballora’s eyes, they were monsters. And well, they did take her to the scooping room. And she’s even in the thumbnail.(although Michael isn’t) I actually didn’t think about this until I saw an AI cover that had Ballora singing that part, and then it just hit me. Maybe I’m wrong though, it does also fit the children William killed. Edit: Oh yeah, something I forgot to mention was the “seeing nothing but the dark”, this could also go with either one, or any fnaf character really. 😅 But it also gives me Ballora vibes since she is in a dark room. Also yeah, you’ll only see darkness if your eyes are closed. -Long comment of a theory that probably won’t hold up, of a small part of a fan remix of a fan song.

@@DeertectiveI mean, I’m not sure what the original intention was, but Ballora isn’t an Afton. She’s a bit of an anomaly, and it really isn’t clear yet who she is or where she came from. It could be Mrs. Afton, but there isn’t enough proof. The reason I think it’s the missing children is because this song is meant to encapsulate the impact William Afton had. His family is one thing, and all the children he murdered are another. That’s why it’s the last part of the song, and why it’s not lumped in with any other family members. It has more importance in the song, which tells me that it’s from someone who the Afton family has had the biggest impact on.

My theory 0:00 through 1:13 is Elizabeth. Mentions of Darkness and "pretending" (something major to Baby's character) are mentioned. 1:32 to 1:50 is Evan/Chris/Crying Child. "Ended to their flaws", them being Micheal and William, probably. The " fighting monsters" obviously refers to Fnaf 4. 1:51 through 2:05 is Micheal. "Let my pride get to my head", a dumb teenage who thought he was above dying and death due to his youth, only to see it in front of his eyes when he accidentally killed CC. The rest is all three of them. The monster is obviously William. William was not a good father and all had hands in their deaths, even if he wasn't the direct cause. 1. He obviously didn't keep a good eye on Elizabeth after making a murder robot who kills children. Who wouldn't guessed that a young child (when told the robot is made for her) would go near it? 2. He never stopped Michael's bullying. Micheal was never taught it was bad, and Micheal was never taught when to far was just that, to far. The fact that Fredbear's jaw so easily failed too, most likely due to poor safety precautions (though this can be debated and I agree it's not the best but it's still potentially there) 3. He sent Micheal into that death hole to find Baby. Do I really need to say why that was a bad idea? William Afton doesn't get a verse for this reason. While he is an Afton, I really doubt the kids see him as actual family after all the bull he put them through. Mrs. Afton doesn't really have her own verse for obvious reasons. She has almost no role in the story of Fnaf and the theory that she's even in a robot is loose at best. While I do enjoy it, I can see why she wouldn't much be considered in a song like this This song is about the Afton kids and what others and their own father did to them.

I'd like this song to be used in the end credits to the FNaF movie when it comes out, but I think the more deserving song for that honor would be the FNaF 1 song by The Living Tombstone. I can see the movie as being the end of the series as well. Maybe a couple of one-off games but that's about it. That or we will get multiple FNaF movies. I think it deserved the honor of being the credits song, like a bus of nostalgia hitting you and you realizing that it has marked the end of an era. I feel it would bring everyone to tears as they remember the rollercoaster ride of the series, especially MatPat. Dude is still trying to figure out the time line to the entire series. I just wanna see what he comes up with. They might have to split this up into a series of movies, or just make a 3-4 hour long movie to fit it all in one. But it really will be the end of an era.

I think Fnaf's movies ought to be distributed in Three Films: The first one would be about the three first games (chronologically), which would be about the tragic story of Afton Family. The second one would be about the return of William (and his transformation into Springtrap) and how Henry tried to finish him and release the souls of the other animatronics. The last one would be about the return of William in Glichtrap, how he turned to his old body in Security Breach and how our protagonists achieve to finish him in the next Fnaf game.

Of course the timeline needs to be figured out, but I think it goes a little something like this: FNaF 4, FNaF SL, FNaF 2, FNaF 1, FNaF 3, FNaF Pizzaria Simulator, FNaF VR, and finally FNaF Security Breach. I say FNaF SL goes before FNaF 2 and 1 because in both games, you are fired for tampering with the animatronics (Attempting to free any souls), and for odor, which a rotting body will typically give off. Michael kills his brother in FNaF 4, gets killed in FNaF SL, then as he is a rotting human works at FNaF 2 and 1, then FNaF 3 with the goal of burning it down to end his father, although he fails. Then, Henry decides to finish it once and for all, and Michael takes the job at FNaF Pizzaria Simulator, where he gathers all the animatronics. Then Henry, as he attempts to end everything, burns the building down with everyone in it. William Afton goes to hell, but somehow he gets free and becomes Glitchtrap, and implants himself into FNaF VR, then Vanny's head. Meanwhile, above the ruins of the Pizzaria Simulator location, the Pizzaplex is built. The crying child becomes a robot, known as Gregory, while Michael embeds his soul into the hardware of Glamrock Freddy. Cut to the intro of FNaF SB, Michael's soul takes control, and he helps his younger brother, now in the form of Gregory, survive, so as to make up for his past mistakes. Then, Gregory burns the Pizzaplex down after the underground location where WIlliam is located, now in the form of Burntrap, is found. Gregory and Michael seems to escape, while William is kidnapped by some metal spaghetti, known as Molten Freddy, with the remains of the animatronics in Pizzaria Simulator inside, so they are all still "alive". Then we get to find out what will occur in the next game. Cause there will be another. Michael and William will definitely return once again, to face off yet again. my fnaf timeline (my version) (update fnaf help wanted 2) 1943: William Afton, Julie Afton, and Henry Emily were born. 1949: William Afton went to a circus and saw a dancing bear. he has that as an idea for families to enjoy. 1951: William created drawings of a bear, a bunny, a chicken, and a fox gong on adventures. 1955: William meets Julie. 1962: William meets henry. 1965: William and Julie are married. 1967: Faz bear entertainment was established. 1968: Michael Afton was born. 1971: 2 Freddy Faz bears pizzerias and Fred bears family diner was opened. 1974: Elizabeth Afton and Charlotte Emily were born. 1976: circus babies' pizzeria was opened. 1977: Evan Afton was born. 1983: Evan Afton was having nightmares of animatronics attacking him inside his room. Evan was celebrating his birthday at Fred bears family diner.
