Hex of destruction hitting back-to-back duds in the first rent cycle was probably what made the run possible, tbh. That was some insane luck.

The time capsule gave him back a dud, however he did get quite lucky this run with Swapping Device + all the good eaters. From my attempts of this challenge, it seems that luck plays a pretty big role in succeeding. I've had many attempts fizzle out on early rent payments - although it could also be due to suboptimal choices.

Swapping device hard carry. Probably the best item in the game tbh. Doesnt force you to min/max but rewards you highly if you do. Only time it doesnt work is when you have non-adjacent synergy which there is none i can think of.

I've been struggling so much in the early game with Floor 20. Honestly, I feel like it falls into the slightly too dependent on RNG range for me. My goal was to make consistent wins in Floor 20 to try for a winstreak too, but it's so difficult.

Took me awhile to get my rhythm down for it, don't give up, I was in a similar situation but now I'm sitting at about 40% overall winrate and climbing, I'd say it's about a 1/10 chance to just lose outright to early game rng which sucks but is workable

Shattered mirror is unironically kinda goated. A hidden mechanic with it is that ittl always target the lowest rarity so youll basically never lose out on seeing uncommons or rares from it. Almost certainly good to avoid for this challenge but in general it is a Really solid item

tyler you can bind your keyboard to basically everything, I did z x c for the simbols, s for skip, m n b for pay, x and inventory, a for reroll and d to remove it makes the game go so much faster without tiring your arm and right hand, I strongly recomend ypu to try makinga custom binding, specially if you plan to keep playing this game in the future

I have a fun challenge for you that I did a month ago. Apartment 20. No skipping. You aren’t allowed to take or use reroll/removal capsules. You can’t take hex of destruction (as it removes things) you aren’t allowed to take hex of emptiness (as it bypasses you taking a symbol) UNLESS you have holy water that negates those affects. It took me like 3 days, a few hours each day, to beat it. You could go god mode and not take like coin on a string since it technically removes things, etc. but above is what I did for my run.
