Can you do more videos about London Ontario such as cost of living, job opportunities and the pros and cons to live in london
@SkyRanger9993 жыл бұрын
- cost of living is significantly lower than major cities like Ottawa, Toronto etc - London has a bunch of schools, hospitals, a big college and a big university. Beside there are a lot of jobs in trades. Besides that jobs are kind of scarce. - Pros: 1. Relatively cheap city 2. It has a big park (springbank park) which stretches along Thames River. Lots of greenery 3. There are a bunch of farms around London like strawberry, apple, blueberry etc farms. If you are into those activities in the summer, those are fun -Cons: 1. Downtown core is terrible. At the start of the video you saw Dundas & Richmond intersection in downtown. You never want to go there because the area is mostly occupied by crackheads and homeless people. Nobody goes there to spend time. People usually go to Richmond row if they go to downtown. Richmond Row mostly has bars and patios along the area. But the bars are the same big franchise you will find in any other city. 2. I consider London to be a heavily car reliant city. Usually you won't find an area that's walking distance to grocery stores and good restaurants and other basic necessities. If you don't have a car, the transportation is pretty bad. While its getting better, at least half the time you will spend 30+ min on the bus. 3. Its a pretty quiet city. Unless you are a small town kind of person who enjoys peace, you will find it really boring. There are not many fun activities to do. Food scene here is not great.

The third place has good space. My only issue is that the house is oriented away from direction of natural light. I know it's winter but without facing East and West, means the bulbs will always have to be on and without natural light, it feels like the house would always be stuffy. I prefer your current apartment. Thanks for the video.

Hi Osariemen... Thank you for your video, I felt like I was there with you 🤸. Do they have apartments that already come furnished? Do you think it's wiser to take already furnished apartments so you can save on furnishing or there's really no difference?
@OsariemenO4 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Most times furnished apartments are shared or for student living or very high end spaces but for family you don’t really find furnished apartments, in the end it may be cheaper for you to furnish at your own pace and to your own taste.

Your search criteria is flawed. I rented a 5 bedroom house for 500 per room (2500/month) with utilities included throughout the last few years. That house has 2 car garage with 4 space driveway and backyard, and only 10 min walk to UWO. Whatever you're searching for is incorrect. You could easily find a 2-3br house for $1500 that isn't a craphole.
