Hello. Thanks for watching the whole video. 🙂 Apologies for the missing prices. I seemed to have forgotten to add them in the description. Let me take them from my notes now. Hope this helps!

Hey girl I want to take a trip out there soon too to visit / tour! Did you Call each apartment yourself and schedule them the day you knew you would be there ???
@beingsalinya2 жыл бұрын
Hey girlie. I either called each apartment or went on their website, set up a tour and then they reached out and confirmed with you. When scheduling be sure to schedule them based on each area so you aren’t driving all over Houston lol. Best of luck on your search. ❤️

Hey Salinya, thank you for this video! Congrats on your move and your engagement!! I will also be making that move to Houston at the top of next year. I just wanted to know how long before moving did you start looking for a job?
@beingsalinya2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! 💕 Congrats to you on the upcoming move! You will love it. I applied and accepted my job in February and moved in May. I began searching about 3 months before I moved due to me always having to have a plan! It also gave me enough time to get ready to move and give enough notice to my previous job. You need to be able to support the lifestyle you want here so starting as early as you can will be great to find the best job for you! I was able to explain my situation to my new employer. They were very understanding with me moving halfway across the country! Good luck in your search! 💚

@@beingsalinya thank you for the info!! 🙏🏾. I’m a labor and delivery nurse. What resources did you use to find your job? Besides Indeed?
@beingsalinya2 жыл бұрын
@@ericalayne889 You're welcome! I actually didn't use any sites like Indeed. I went straight to the source itself, the actual hospital. I applied directly through the hospital's career page and was able to get my job that way. Best of luck to you! 💚

Hi! 😊 I listed all of the prices I could find in the description box. That was one I was not able to find. I recommend going to the apartment website and find out the new prices of the apartments. I filmed this in March and a lot has probably changed since then. I hope you find the best place for you!

LOL!!! $2,000 per month for less than 1000 sq ft!!! I'll stay in Ohio where $700 per month will get a much larger apartment or a house payment. And I make 6-figures up here so I highly doubt I'd make twice as much money in Texas, but my rent would be over twice as expensive. And apartment buildings raise the rent every year too. Screw that.
@beingsalinya Жыл бұрын
The apartment life is definitely changing all over!! I’m originally from Wisconsin so I definitely understand rent is much more affordable in the Midwest. I do have to say the pay is better here in my field but no where near double lol. Thanks for watching the video and giving your input! 🙂

When I toured in March/April it was Forge and Flare on select floor plans and then Chelsea Museum District all floor plans. I am not sure the specials they have now because it sometimes switches monthly. Hope this helps 😇

looking to move to Houston in the next 6 months how would you go about finding a apartment out of state and finding jobs with someone with no degree thank you
@beingsalinya2 жыл бұрын
How exciting about the upcoming move! I found the apartments on apartments.com. I narrowed down my search by finding places near my place of employment. When it comes to finding jobs with no degree I do not know how much help I would be, but I think Indeed would be helpful. I am a nurse so it is pretty straight forward. I hope this helps a little! 😊

Hi Being Salinya my name is Jessica Walker I saw 2 of the apartment videos and my question is for you and your boyfriend why you just want buy a house instead I’m a student nurse in Los Angeles buy I do like the first apartment.
@beingsalinya2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jessica! 😊 SO awesome that you live in LA. I love it there. & Great question. The reason why my fiance and I decided not to buy a house was because we are not absolutely sure we want to live in Houston long term. I have only ever lived in Wisconsin and this is my first venture out of state. An apartment is an easy commitment compared to a house in our opinion. Plus the housing market is crazy right now and we decided to rent. Maybe you will see some home buying videos in the future once we get settled in where we want to be. Thanks for your comment.🙂
