I live close to the Braves minor league stadium. I’m truly blessed honestly. I bought my house before this craziness started. It was under $150k now worth almost 400k. I can sale and walk away with 300k + but I can’t buy anything in the metro area right now for that. Unless I go way way south or in the country somewhere. The cost of living has gone up tremendously everywhere. No matter where you look one bedroom apartments are STARTING at $1000+. Even if someone wanted to rent a house it’ll still be in the same price range or more. Some people may not want a house by themselves or may feel as if a house is too much space, it’s just all personal preference. If someone wants to rent then let them rent. @dj.10943 жыл бұрын
Buying a home is a major purchase especially if you are not sure if you will settle in the area. With apartments you are paying for convenience. Texas apts can go up to 1900-2000 a month so 1500 sounds reasonable to me!
@scientchahming52 жыл бұрын
If you're not planning on settling down in a single area for at least several years, you're better off renting. With an apartment, you are usually getting a convenient location and at least one utility included in the rent. Sometimes you can also get great amenities like a swimming pool, fitness suite, etc.
@scientchahming52 жыл бұрын
How about purchasing something portable like a tiny house or trailer and just rent the land? The cost is often much lower than renting an apartment and you put at least part of the money into a home you can own!
