@NP, I’m not quite sure which septic you are talking about, please rephrase the question.

@@brotherloveinhaiti409 sewage management. are they using septic tanks and leach fields (which i know is a tough setup in mountains) or are they using a sewer system (which i thought was under developed there)?
@marcrooseler8 ай бұрын
One of the first questions when buying a home. Even with a sewage system, if available at that height, I would explore alternative sewage treatment options, to include dehydration treatment, water purification, probably self containment options as well. If some of these homes are a milly they can afford self containment as well as humidifying water making machines.
@marcrooseler8 ай бұрын
@@Kindafu I'm looking at the proximity of some of these homes, depending on the amount of bedrooms per property, leach fields don't seem feasible. Unless placed in their immediate yards, which presents advantages as well as disadvantages.

The lack of roads and infrastructure in what are supposedly the better areas is just infuriating.
@v-fiittv47802 жыл бұрын
Well the lack of roads is because Haiti is under construction, it’s still being built
@alexskatit41882 жыл бұрын
@@v-fiittv4780 "Under construction"??????? With what money????? This lack of infrastructure issue is more than 100 years old and there has been no progress. It only has gotten worse as people are building even more badly built homes along corridors or on top of abandoned hills. The Haitian government is nonexistent and broke and is not constructing anything.

This is one of the many areas in port au prince. Outsiders come in and want to visit the stigma about Haiti, me I just turn down a block I drive by everyday and experience a new world. Higher in the mountains, nice homes, and the further you go up, you start going into uncharted territory, off-road.
@alexskatit41882 жыл бұрын
@@brotherloveinhaiti409 I know all the areas of Port-au-Prince. Yes people build nice homes behind walls. The lack of decent roads and basic infrastructure is not a stigma, it is reality. Outside of Belvil which is a gated and planned community and a few main roads, it is a city of corridor size unlined streets without sidewalks or proper drainage. It is an urban mess.
@brotherloveinhaiti4092 жыл бұрын
&Alexskatit , it wasn’t taken as an offensive comment. Haiti is a virgin island so some of the main roads are virgins too😂

@@brotherloveinhaiti409 I hear you my brother but Haiti is not virgin. It is the most ecologically destroyed country in the Caribbean. It lost its virginity decades ago and is now a "woman" of ill repute.🤣
