You did a newbie mistake on the smoke detector. The reason it was so hard to twist, is there is a plastic pin you should have pulled. Good video, once again. Keep them coming.

I used to work for a lawn sprinkler company when I was in my 20's and we took care of a couple senior developments. It was some of the best times I had working a job, we took the golf carts around the place and just did service calls. Now I am in the maintenance department in a cable company, a lineman, and we have on-call every 7 weeks for 7 days and your right, it sucks!! When it is mid winter and 3am and your phone goes off, you do NOT want to get out of bed. It's you job, so you have to go do it, but it sucks.

@4:30 a piece of the light bulb box works well too. Just tear of a jab, jam it into the socket like your finger. Found that out with GE microwave range bulbs that were glued in….

Hello Lex. By switching whips to the air conditioner/heat pump would the customer/tenant be paying for other units power usage? It would be nice to have a quality assurance inspector going through these units verifying power/water if metered. Hopefully each unit has its own water supply shut off valves along with vacuum breakers/anti syphon on each metered service. New builds require these inspections along with plans onsite for city inspections. I know it adds cost to builders but safety and knowledge is invaluable. Appreciate taking us along on your daily adventures. BTW: Jordan is definitely fortunate to have survived if it was 3 months off, sounds very serious.

It would be really surprising if First Co doesn’t end up with a class action lawsuit for those coils. For hanging TVs, the residents’ lease might require them to have maintenance do it so they don’t damage drywall trying it themselves. I lived at an apartment complex where the manager specifically told us not to do it ourselves.
@LexVance3 ай бұрын
We've had a few try to hang it themselves. One day later it fell off the wall and tore the wood mantle above the fireplace off the wall as well. 🙃 😆😆

In the future bud you just got to pull that pin out of the smoke alarm. It’s right in the front and pulls right out. You see it fly off when you apply pressure

Can't believe tenants will call on a bulb base broken in a light fixture. Kind of sad how "some' are so mentally handy that can't do this sh*t themselves.

One needs to have at least a EPA universal certificate. He should not be handing refrigerated without it. He can work for a licensed technician but he needs his EPA cert to touch refrigerant. He is lucky no one has snitched on him. Also someone who he works for must have it. One can’t buy refrigerated without it.

You don't need to go to school to get an EPA license, and you don't necessarily need to go to school to learn hvac
