I think it's not so much about whether she is "allowed" (rent prices are generally public information if you know which apartment complex/building it is and can be found on the property's website). It's more so about the fact that most people wouldn't share that kind of information with people (especially with people they don't know).

Jenn is like my favorite you tuber as I felt she has both beauty and brain and she is always very genuine! I love her style and how she mixes and matches her clothes although I'm more of the korean sweet style haha. I always enjoyed watching her house tour as it is just amazing how she decorated her house and kept it so clean and minimalist! Okay I'm gonna rewatch her old house tour and go clean my room now :))

Young ppl usually don't "buy" or "own" a place so they usually sign a 1 yr contract or lease. So, I'm assuming it's almost been a year so her contract is up. She could of chose to re-sign and stay but... I guess she might want to venture out and get a place with a seperate bed, away from her public places with guest :D Just my assumption. I want a studio like that but will eventually want to move into a place with a seperate room for a bed.

So I study British and American Studies and this is what my textbook has to say about this haha: 'It is very common in the U.S.A. for young people to leave their parents’ houses at an early age and to live on their own. It is not unusual either to follow job offers and move many times throughout one’s life. Average Americans move about 14 times in their lives, and changing partners and starting new families is nothing exceptional either. This mobility is probably associated with the materialistic character of the society; one’s personal belongings are just material objects that can be replaced by newer and better ones whenever this need occurs. Americans appreciate everything practical that perfectly suits its purpose and makes their life easier and faster.' Not sure if it helps but I guess it's just normal for them to move often in order to find new opportunities

Most teenagers move out when they go to college, and for some, it's very hard to move back in with parents once they've had that taste of freedom/living on your own. I lived in three separate places during college, but moved back home once I graduated, and I've stayed here for five years. But I guess we American young adults just like change we can control and fresh starts. With KZbinrs, I would assume they'd move to places with better filming areas and nicer ones they can afford once they start making more money.

JENNNNNNNNN!!!!!! DO HEE UNNNNIII!!! HELLLLPPPP!! so this place kind of confuses me lol. the room and living room aren't separate ... so it's not really a one bedroom apartment, it's super big to be a studio, and a bit small to be a loft. what is the truth?! I'm curious because I may be moving to California not sure exactly where. actually I may be moving to a lot of places (I'll now once I get acceptance letters back) and I can't fathom living with roommates it's just hard lol. my introversion, and also trying to film when people are walking in and out and are loud and etc. I just need my own space right now. I would like a one bedroom. but I don't see the point in me having a one bedroom and a living room, because I stay posted in my room since I keep a TV in there lol, but then I just have so much clothes and stuff, that I need a place with tons of storage space, something tiny studios lack. And a loft is too big, and I feel like I'm going to get anxiety and be lonely lol. so IDK what to do. but this your place is kind of perfect, and I want to be sure I know what this classifies as in terms of living space. if this is a studio, I gives me hope that I can find a place that suits me! If it's an apartment, lol idk how to even search for this in google... google search "no bedroom apartment?", google "you mean studio?" google search "giant studio?" google "showing results for 490 square feet studio apartment listings" .... I can feel the frustration already.
