Your apartment is very nice. 😍 I think there are places that can repair your shoes. You might consider removing your shoes from your beverage cart. I understand the desire to display your pretty shoes, but maybe you might want to put them somewhere with non-consumable items. Even if shoes had never been worn before, it would be off-putting to accept food or drink from someone if shoes were displayed on a kitchen table, kitchen counter, dining room table, or dining buffet. The beverage cart is in the same category as the others listed. Of course, it's your home and you can decorate with your pretty things however you like. I know. It's just a suggestion, not a criticism.

The cart isn't for practical purposes. It's simply an embellishment to my kitchen and serves as decoration. The shoes on the cart would only be off putting to a complete stranger or if this was a restaurant or establishment to a customer.. Again guys, this is my HOME - a place where only close friends and family would be invited too. It's not that deep....🤦🏽‍♀️

Those shoes were also coated in glitter leather. The escalater ruined them ruined them. I have no interests in getting them repaired. I like that they have character and are now a conversation piece when people ask what happened to them. The hotel also cut a nice check to replace them and I bought another pair in a different style!
