Thank you for your content. Hey, which area did you decide to make home in Da Nang, Sammy? Do you prefer An Thuong, Ha Châu or a quieter expat area? Is the port area good for residential?

I life in the center of an Thuong but if I would wanna go more quite I’d go south to son tra or Nam Viet A. But then that’s not a social place I like being able to walk to my coffees and meet friends without having to drive somewhere :) I will go more in depth on more apartments in the future

Do to circumstances I'll likely be limited to larger carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc). Do you have any recommendations for which one to use, with certainty of delivery being a priority above cost? Rent for two nights to check it out and then make a deal in person, they don't pay commision that way!

Sometimes if they have like long term rates but what I had in the past is I was Only able to book 2 weeks in a row for a good price. Generally getting a hotel room and going on a apartment hunt is the best by foot, fb groups or with an agent :) Easier solution is always serviced apartments but they come with a premium compared to long term rental

They do have international schools here. I think the bigger issue are the visas to life here without having a business or Vietnamese spouse

@@teedimi9539 What are you going to do, there is no beach action, nothing outdoors will be enjoyable. It's cheaper though, you can bargain the price in your favor at least. Not everyday will be bad but the majority will be I believe. Go to Wikipedia and see the yearly chart for rain in Da Nang, Oct is the worse!

:( it’s 50/50 my parents came last year from 3-10 October and they had almost no rain. But then it started at a random point in October. Worse case you can book a flight to Thailand that’s always a good option in that time. I really hope it will be dry 🙏

@@rogregen4419 I think it started with some hotel reviews that had this insane seaview toilets so now it’s the goal to find more 😂 This apartment was a request and also I know at least 20 friends who stayed or stay there and love it. Sammy is not marking up the price. This place is more expensive because it is a hotel that rents rooms by the month also, their primary business is nightly and weekly rentals.
