Thank you for sharing. I’ve been married 34 years and live in an old farm house ( plus barn and garage😣) bursting at the seams with accumulated life. Your video reminded me of when we were first starting out and how each item in our tiny home was found or purchased and placed with thought. Mary Holme-Shaw I bet you have some amazing treasures in there! I can see how living in a small home after awhile you would start to accumulate things. It’s hard for me not to purchase new home decor items that are cute but I just think about how right now we have no space for it. It really is about the space you create. Thanks for sharing that tidbit. I really love your kitchen tiles... glad I came across this video b/c I was thinking about how I may be able to cover up my current kitchen tiles. How do you dry out the butterflies? I found one and saved it once. I put it in a plastic container but it started smelling.

Naturally Ivey Well my husband found the black butterfly already dead on the ground. It never stank for us so maybe it had been dead awhile? And the other moth was a gift from a friend who ordered it from Thailand or something for a still life photography project and didn’t need it anymore. It was probably already treated and dried. 😉

Omg we got curtains like that on our old house bc the closets didnt have doors. Then we switched them out for simple thick neutral ones on a cool rod. It looked really cute

We are getting ready to move into our new home...a home we bought from my aunt and uncle, that my grandparents built. This home comes after losing our previous home 4 years ago due to medical debt. This video is a total inspiration! Thank you!

Hehe that was my mom answering! Yes they do. It seemed strange at first but honestly our space is so small we don’t do a whole lot of entertaining except in the backyard which can be accessed without going through our bedroom. And we feel comfortable letting people in through our room if need be!

If you did the stick-on backsplash, some people have a lot of success with using sticky contact paper to cover counters! That way you could get consistency in colour or brighten it up to a marble, if you wanted :)

mademoisellesss Yes!!!! You’re so right. And it’s funny because I watched a ton of tutorials on that marble contact paper on the counters. I’m wondering why now that I didn’t do that. I think it gets a wee bit tricky around the sink area. If we decide to stay in this place for another year I think that might be a good option!

How do you water all the plants from the ceiling?

Cookie O Usually take them down off the hooks to water them. But some I can reach if I stand on a stool. 😊

You don’t have to do anything to them really except change their water every few weeks. Sometimes I go a whole month without changing it and they are still fine. You just don’t want to put them anywhere in direct sun.

But she's also quite intoverted at times so with this particular combination, I think it's hard to say you're an extrovert or an introvert because of the needed down time. I'm a INFJ en5.
