Thank you for sharing how you make your own note pads. Your guillotine is amazing! I have a really good one but I don't think it can cut that number of sheets as accurately as yours (although it's new so it might be that I haven't mastered it yet!). I really love that you make the majority of the things you sell from scratch in your studio. That is what I'd like my small art business to emulate 🧡

Thank you so much for watching 🤗 this one cuts up to 500 sheets but I try to cut 100 maximum, otherwise the cut is not as great. If definitely take a while to get it right and a lot of things can make the cuts not 100% perfect! I have a video planned talking about how I improved my cuts, maybe it will help 🤗

Hiiii!! I've been watching notepads tutorials for days now cause I want to make my own! I saw you're using the canon PIXMA iX6850 for your notepads and was wondering if it's not too expensive to make. I'm worried it'd be too expensive for a colorful 50 pages notepads. How often do you change the ink? And how many pages do you print until you have to change it? Thank you so much!!

Hiiii! :) I have a whole video on printing, if you want to check that out. I don't use canon inks, so that makes it affordable :) And all the inks I've used since I'm in this studio for over 2 years fit in a normal shopping bag, I save them all lol The inks you use the most will depend on your art. For me the yellow is the one that goes faster, but the blacks last FOREVER. So it will really depend :)

I'm seeking advice about the paper.. I know you have answered alot of paper questions-- I've struggled with once my art has printed the print (if it got a fleck of water the ink bleeds) any insight?? It would be sooo appreciated

That’s usual with paper and prints! They are not supposed to be in contact with water. Laser printing is a bit more waterproof and you can do things as extra protection like adding a spray or laminating the prints, but at the end of the day it’s still paper and shouldn’t be in contact with water :)

@@JustFeelingsCrafts absolutely! It’s heartbreaking when you spend a lot of money on production and things are not on the way you want. A bit, specially if there’s water involved. I’m planning to laminate them again soon :)

When I lock my paper on the ream cutter it leaves a crease at the end. Is that normal or am I locking it too tightly?

@@yourvirtualhelpbiz hii! You probably need to change the red rubber part, it’s probably too used. You’ll have to switch the machine carefully, take the screws off that are fixing the red rubber and turn it to an unused side :) I guess it’s probably that 💛

@@yourvirtualhelpbiz Oh that is weird! Maybe try to apply different pressures on it and if it doesn't work, apply a piece of cardboard on top so it's not directly on your materials! :)
