I hope you guys realize just how close this fight actually was. Goss had a 5,000 health point advantage and once Arzuros died Goss was just above 5,000 health. This means if the heath was even Goss might have lost.

Note that Goss harag was nerfed, as this is a master-rank monster and arzuros apex is not.

Simply looking at the difference in health I imagined Goss to be the winner. Arzuros did good early on though, as he did keep Goss stunned by just throwing rocks at him but unfortunately that didn't last. That difference in health is just too much for the Bloodlust Incarnate and in all honesty I think Goss Harag just took that title for himself.

Ah Goss, god bless him I love that bear. The HP difference is high, but balanced out by how afflicted works; the hugely crippling penalties and bursting damage makes it much less than it appears. But damn if he don't make it work. Even if I dislike the Qurio system he makes one hell of a fight. I'd be content if this is the last he shows up, I'm quite satisfied with him as is. Personally, it'd be fun to see some other lesser-seen monsters battle again, like Aknosom for instance. I don't think the umbrella bird's gotten a full display once, and he's really enjoyable to watch. I quite liked the fight with Terry v Khezu, so I think it'd be cool to see more stuff like that. I also managed to actually get him and Magna to fight and watched him rip and tear the Tiger in a (semi) close fight. Goss then killed me afterwards for good measure, but hey, I'm happy to give it to him after the shows he's given me. I just think he's neat.

Interestingly both inflicted about 1300 HP of Damage, Afflicted Health was just way to much for the Redhelm at home. Was a good Fight, I was expecting much more Paw Swiping. Arzuros as a superpowered Tutorial Monster did a pretty great Job versus a super powered Apex Predator, whos Baseform is three Tiers above his.

今回のバトル(以下ネタバレ) ヌシアオアシラもアオアシラといえどヌシ、相当な実力者だ。ただし牙獣種の王と言うに等しい実力をもつゴシャハギには的でもなかった。さらに彼は傀異化によって高い体力さえも手に入れている。ヌシアオアシラも接近戦では優れているが、行動の遅さあたり判定の狭さ、これが致命的だった。一方のゴシャハギはリーチの長い怒り時の攻撃、そしてそれを何度と繰り返し行う上に高火力。これには体力が低いラージャンでも太刀打ちできない。ラージャンが傀異化するか激昂するか、他の牙獣種でこの傀異化ゴシャハギに勝つには。このどちらかの可能性のみだろう。

We always ask the question on why Goss doesn't get any love from Capcom. Everyone else got subspecies or some kind of attention while he got nothing. While it was doubtful Arzuros would win, he did do pretty well. Three battles he has fought and he has won each one. I dread imagining what new form Goss could be given. At the very least, Scorned would be given a decent challenge.

just comparing the size of the 2.. The ice blade is almost the same length as the Arzuros' body. If this were happening in real life, I can't even picture how Arzuros could win in any situation..

@@MSSDeathmatch I don’t know how I’d feel about a Goss subspecies since it’s likely they’d have to come up with a new gimmick outside of his ice weapons. Maybe they can make him a fire or thunder type and have his hands engulfed in flames or electricity. I could see that being pretty cool. Could also make him a non elemental subspecies and make him larger. He’d be able to launch huge rocks and create tremors with his slams. Any of these would be cool. A variant could lean more heavily towards his ice weapons making them more refined with sharper blades. His blunt ice fist could become spiked. A number of possibilities. Imagine if he starts wielding two handed weapons? That’d be sick as well.

Afflicted Goss Harag + Superior speed + More ranged attacks + Iceblight allowed Goss to control the pace of the battle + Wider arsenal - Weaker durability could put Goss at risk of being knocked out of Afflicted State Apex Arzuros + Superior strength + Strong enough to knock Goss out of the Afflicted State before he could use the Anomaly Burst - Slow attacks left Apex Arzuros open - Weak to ice - No element

Gods Harag is not a bear. I see everyone say this but that is untrue. It has opposable thumb and runs like a gorilla so it is most likely a primate closer to humans than bears. It also makes sense with Goss Harag being based on the yeti and on a snow oni.
