Apex Field Testing

Here's a compilation of some recent field testing with the Garrett ACE Apex metal detector. Most of this is urban testing in North Texas with several field tester friends (Rusty, Wes, and Shawn) plus a little digging with George "KG" Wyant in Kansas. I run through a few of the settings and show some of our early finds. We all test changing the channels so four Apex units all set on Multi-Frequency can hunt in close proximity. Stay tuned, because some of these field testers will probably release their own videos (better quality no doubt!) in the weeks ahead.
Note: we were not out to show deep digging. People will test that later when released. But we did avoid digging a lot of trash on these extremely trashy home sites. Thanks to KG and his buddies for getting permission to keep the well pump relic!

Thanks for the preview of the Ace Apex Steve! Those bronze 5 mil tokens usually ring up above the nickel range. Never found a whole roll of pennies in the wild!

Man I would just dig everything up. Iron, silver, etc.. Possibly lower the iron frequency down a bit but just not knowing what it could be is the fun of it. Wish I had one of these machines!!

Excellent hunt if you can please do a beach wet sand test and submerge the coil this is what I want to see if it is good in depth in water and works with wet mineralised sand🇬🇷💙👍

Be nice to use in england with some smaller coils to get in between the iron junk 7x4 concentric joey coil would be really nice on my fields which are like a carpet of roman boot nails

The apex lends itself really well for ancient sites due to its sharp focused very quick sound

To the apex engineer would be possible if you put together a pro apex rather than just an extra coil or two would it be possible to make the apex 5, 10 , 15, 20 then 10, 20.40 and 60 on a frquency shift .now that would be a pro package ..

I think the depth in alot of cases varies on the size of the coil not necessarily the detector itself, though I am not certain as I'm still pretty new to detecting.

Nothing against any of these folks that have close ties to Garrett I greatly enjoy Garrett products just got my max in straight from great state of Texas. But I really truly believe you need to let the average joe and Jane's out there test products out for you. I get it they have millions of subscribers and it is advertisement. I submitted a request to try one even offered to pay for shipping and leave my card on file if I really loved it. I'm a veteran and believe highly in integrity and honor. They were not only apart of my army values but MP values. Just a thought thanks.

I hate garrett I just got the 400i this is a great machine please buy it so I did .now look bring out this one ,but I'm not so worried, use do this make you buy it , when the machine gives up your doomed, my 400i has batteries lol 😉😆

Not worth the money. There are much better machines for the cash Garretts asking. Biggest deal breaker is not being waterproof.

Still on the short s shaft, not that light, great marketing no actual detecting just finds, I love the ace series specially the ace 350, multifreq, not the way forward for me, I used the bbs minelab and the fbs, great on wet sand, but can fall flat on soil. Sick of over hyped detectors, some of the best detectors out there for a lot less money, but small companies like rutus, deeptech, goldenmask, don't have the power of garrett or minelabe or even nokta, this video is utter crap, no info on separation, recovery speed, tones, how the machine performs in real life terms, not feild test, but no doubt sold out before even in production we'll done garrett keep printing them dollars, people don't get it if you caint find with wot you use now, this won't find stuff either, unless maybe it is a magic wond,
