The "killing each other at the same time" -issue is pretty new in Apex and it 100% is a server issue with the server tick rate. I think they lowered the tick rate to cut costs or "fix" issues. It happened in Battlefield a lot, but the higher the server tick rate, the less it occured. So EA is actually making the game performing worse. Good job!

At first I was iffy about him, but I've been playing him a lot and he's perfect for those teammates that push a bit too far ahead of the group, but just so happened to crack someone, but are in need of some cover. I did just that with a Wraith (me and Bangalore were just a few feet behind her) and she was trying to heal up behind a box and I flew right to her side as Newcastle. I won't lie, I barely play Lifeline anymore. I'd choose Newcastle or Gibby (even Bangalore...heck, even Mirage lol). This same Wraith also did a super glide off the edge of a piece of Newcastle's wall and made a portal behind the team we were facing, after Bang popped a smoke. I have to say, the synergy between us all (I was playing solo) was insane.
