Imagine, you're an elite agent. Hunting for a legend. You search the club and find no trace of him. Until you get a call from the clubs 'manager' and your handler informs you that's 47's voice. It's a trap. You enter the room, armed and ready for anything. He's standing there, unarmed. You play along and ask to talk about things and tell him to sit. He watches you for a moment. You know, and he knows you know. After a second he sits down, and your men enter the room behind you. His trap has failed and you begin to talk. The game is up and you'll be killing him in a moment. Then in your earpiece you hear your team go silent, one by one. Voices cut off mid sentence or gasps of pain crying out of the radio. And 47 is Right. There. Sat in front of you, not moving, a small smile on his face as his eyes bore deep into yours. Your handler orders you to get the hell out of there. But you have him, he's right there. But before you can do anything he kicks the table with a massive display of strength knocking you to the ground. Behind you one fucking clown T-Poses for dominance rather than just fucking shooting 47. The next thing you know 47 shoots and the entire room explodes. You lie on the ground, shrapnel embedded in your lungs, horrificially burned and bleeding to death. And the last words you hear? "Expertly done 47, Expertly fucking done."

Jiao's reaction of pure amazement and terror was performed exceptionally well.
@hagamapama Жыл бұрын
Jiao knew she was out of her league at the very start. That and she was severely overloaded. 10 agents and just one handler? That's not how the ICA does things and it showed in the sloppiness of their agents. it's pretty clear that Montgomery is the agent Jaio is used to handling, but she had to stage manage all 9 others herself. Montgomery is clearly trying to help but he's just as clearly making all the mistakes of an out of touch NCO. Which begs the question, why? Why was Jiao the only handler? That's basically 9 expensive, highly trained assets that were used to working alone with a dedicated handler, all taking orders from the same handler that couldn't give each one the level of attention they needed to get the job done. Waste of resources that, and strikes me as some ambitious middle manager trying something stupid after promising results to their boss. Jiao IS a good handler. She's no Miss Burnwood but she could hold her own if she was allowed to focus on just one thing. Putting 10 agents under her just makes the impossible task of isolating 47 all the harder. If Jiao hadn't been stage managing a workload 10 times the size she should have been given, the mission would have been scrubbed once she realized the agents were playing defense. Assassins don't play defense. She needed to conserve her people and fight another day when there was a better chance to control the situation and take advantage. Instead... well, this happened. The ICA were not in control and should have realized this and bugged out. Jiao could not bring the situation under control becaus she couldn't focus on any one agent. She was so focused on stage managing each agent that she couldn't maintain perfect contact with any of them or keep an eye on the big picture. Once that started costing lives the mission should have been immediately scrubbed but Jiao was too overworked to see the situation in its totality until it was too late.

I keep coming back to this one. I'm terrible at Hitman, myself, it's not really my thing, but I very much enjoy the kind of emergent art people make by taking an already carefully made thing and applying their own carefulness to it. Perfect runs to goofing around to lovingly crafted cinematic movies of absolute nonsense, it always seems very good. But this? This is the apex. There's a reason the people at IO shared it and loved it. They *made* this guy. They made the whole universe that considers him, rightfully, a living legend. And they made a game which is an interface allowing people to help him do the kind of shit that, in-universe, he has been doing flawlessly for decades. Because games need to be fun and engaging, they streamlined a lot of the very boring work that would go into actual assassinations, letting the player feel badass because the badass they are controlling finds this all so easy. But IO never fully considered the potential of someone playing the game with the kind of care and meticulous attention to detail with which in-game 47 does everything. And the result is that the moment beginning at 23:51 is when everyone realizes they were still, somehow, underestimating one of the most feared men in the world. Up until this moment, no one knew that he could be this good. *Including the people at IO, who made him.* Expertly fucking done.

Completed the whole series and the extras. Been immersed with the story (which is good btw). And watched hours of people playing their own take of the stages (insane speed runs, very tactical SASOs, clownery like those who kills everyone or those who kills everyone at the same time including NPCs, and a lot!) but this one, this one takes the crown of the best gameplay video of all. Plus points on the cinematic which is what I saw first, and was still not convinced it was achieved only to be so happy to be proven wrong. Amazing work!

I'm kind of shocked that they never pictured the evac call going out while the meeting is happening so it causes T-posing. Seems like an obvious thing that would end up happening.

@@Trzebiat then what is the purpose of the “Expertly fucking done 47”? Isnt it only when you kill all 11 “at once”?
@RebbyEviolite3 жыл бұрын

@mathieubordeleau1503 жыл бұрын
@@aristonaragao3171 Not at once, just killing all 11 agents. Once you have killed 5 agents the ICA handler orders the remaining agents to evacuate, but they all have the same evac point (the road close to the crane) so depending on where you are is is possible to take them out while they are escaping.

"When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that last blow that did it, but all that had gone before."
This is probably the most sophisticated plan I've seen to be used in a stealth game. The random setups which may seem pointless at first. All of the "Agents" getting killed one by one during the meeting and the dramatic ending. This is MGS/Hollywood-level cinematic. I wish I could play like this in Phantom Pain. Assassin's Creed should learn from this... This playthrough should be used as a demo/trailer for the game. Made me think if I should buy it.

Agent47 is the main reason on why there are unfortunate happenings in the "Final Destination" movies.
@onerxowns22022 жыл бұрын
The "47" is only man deadlier than DEATH ITSELF. Or able to outsmart and trap Death, in Final Destination there he finally, after all Death attempts on him failed spectacular, Defeat Death, and become Death. But it the process to turning in to Death, it failed, it stopped, he still a man, no, not a man, is he Death? No... HE IS BETTER, but immortality would certanly helps THE RIPPER, cause where Death is slaking, HE IS NOT!!!
