Hi Brian . Used p&s Break Buster for the first time . It really dose what it is advertised to. Finally a break cleaner that dose what it says it will. And for the most part that is getting more rare and rare with all detailing products.Got tire extremely clean on first try.Same for cleaning the rims. This stuff is great dose what it says.

Two brands and products that deserve way more respect and attention in this world of "designer" detail brands that seem to focus on colorful labels and smells to draw you in. Both of these focus on product performance, or what really matters IMO. Have been using Simmoniz products for quite some time, but Technicians Choice has been a new addition for me as a new drying aid in the last few months. Extremely happy with TEC582, and even happier to see Brian excited about it as well :) Simmoniz was also doing extremely well, and almost had the win until the true sealant killer made an entrance!

Good review Brian. I can’t watch anymore sealant test though lol, It makes me want to try them all. I’m good on sealants for a long time. (Only joking about watching sealants tests, I love them and keep them coming) I have a lot of sealants on the shelf and the all the new ones that keep coming out are getting better and better and easier to apply. With that said the last couple corrections I have done I have gone back to old school Jescar powerlock and love it, it made me wonder why I was chasing something new with all these fancy new spray sealants that keep coming out when Jescar powerlock is easy to apply, super easy wipe off, proven good durability with great shine and slickness. I maintain with beadmaker after maintenance washes and it just flat out works. With all that said keep up the great test and videos.

I am buying a gallon, I have paid $2.07/oz for Car Pro Reload, at $0.40/oz for Technician's Choice I don't care if Car Pro Reload is better, I am only looking for good performance. I am not a car detailing guy just your average person wanting to protect their vehicles. It seems that TC is as easy to use as Car Pro Reload, Car Pro Reload is stupid easy to use, that is one thing I really appreciate.

Did you dilute the tech choice? I diluted it 5:1 to try it as a drying aid and while it worked as a maybe a synthetic wax it didnt work as a drying aid (it actually made me have to get 2 microfibers to dry the tech on the panel without streaks). Maybe i over diluted. I currently use megs xpress wax with is ok for drying and decent gloss at the same time.

Love to see tec 582 on here. Would like to see there ceramic coating. I personally think the 582 is better for multiple reasons but the coating has amazing gloss. Ive been using tec choice for about 8 years now at the dealership i work at. Another decent product for tec choice is aqua glow. But i feel 582 is a very good bang for the buck

What kind of long term durability do you see with their 580 coating? I've been using it for a few months and it's been awesome so far. I also coated half my daily driver hood so i can keep a close eye on long term durability but it's indeed very slick and glossy, cost efficient and application is ridiculously easy. If it can hit close to that two year lifespan with two layers it's a total homerun in my opinion.

over the past years TEC582 works on all my cars and my customer's rides except for one truck. we needed to cut polish on it. what ever it hade on it would streak and hazy till we the polish. nw looks grate.

Great video again! I just want something to top my coating, and gloss is most important to me. Brian, maybe a video that has to do with layering, and the chemical resistance increase after applying a second layer would be interesting. Brian, these chemical tests make me wonder if strip washes work at all. If we are decon and polishing a car getting it ready for protection, what is the best way to remove old wax or sealants? My go to is pp boat/auto, iron remover, clay and polish.

It's better to do two thin coats. Then over use it on one coat . One coat wait for it to flash and buff and do a second.

Hi Brian, hope you are well and another good review as always. I've noted that in more recent tests where you have heated up one specific spot a lot of the products have withstood the heat torture. In previous videos where you done a long heated line between the sections there appeared to be a bigger impact made. Also there doesn't appear to be an impact from 220 to 250f. The heat is there a bit longer that way...But I found it hard to be consistent across both sections. I will expose them to such temps for a longer period of time.

Interesting video Brian! The durability testing only confirms that the detailers choice is more solvent resistant. I'd be giving the point to Simoniz based purely on the fact that it's way more hydrophobic and was standing up better to the surfactants in the purple power/APC which to me represents more real world testing. Really need to get me a bottle of that Simoniz, not available in the UK though 😔

Hell yeah, I was starting to get mildly bummed as I just got a gallon of TEC582 and have really loved it so far just haven't had it long enough to see the durability otherwise its nearly perfect, IMO. Only real downside to me is the availability of it.

Long story short car got fine scratches on hood from someone touching it while dust was on car. I removed scratches and V2 with 50/50 pad and sonax cut and finish followed by perfect polish. I did 2 layers of TAC systems shine topped with moonlight. Could Technicians choice be used as a topper? Or is spritz good enough? Also Aqua has SiO2 in it as well.

I wonder what would happen if you added in the test part using some Meguiars Wash Plus? In the real world, a car gets abraded daily with driving the vehicle and having sand and dirt get on the side of the car and in the front of the car. Chemicals are not always used since many of us use a PH neutral car wash product. Just a thought. As for the products, I like the Technician's Choice Detail Spray. I would love to see how the Technician's Choice Ceramic Coating stands up to Brian's Bruising! This was a good video and informative.

I would have a wet towel or neutral media to go over the panel in the last test to make sure there was no residue of the citrol remaining before claiming the outright winner with TEC. Nothing against technician's choice, I have 2 bottles of the stuff myself, though I found they don't last nearly as long in the real world and elements compared to many other spray sealants.

Apex Detail I wonder if this will have a benefit in real world conditions as opposed to the tech’s choice do it its nature of increased beading with washing and seemingly brilliant strong APC repellency. They have the alkaline covered but the d-limonene is a ball breaker. Most wouldn’t use d-limonene during real world washing and decon so it would be a real insight to see those results.

Great video. Just started using technician choice about three weeks ago. Put my first full coat on my car about four days ago looks great very slick and glossy. Honestly though for the price Siminoze is a pretty good deal.
