I have a metal .223/5.56 mag with no markings, and it has one hole on the back of the mag. It has two ribs at the bottom that go across to the front of the mag, it is a Russian made metal mag. The lines at the bottom go all the way across the Yugoslavian mags the two lines stop before the front of the mags.

So I got this Romanian mag and all it has on it on the back spine is an upside down “5” and closer to the top are two little lines right next to each other which I’m not even sure they’re meant to be there, somebody probably just messed up!

I sifted through the video trying to find my mags. No luck. One is a steel mag, standard 5 rib, pretty light welds, only marking I’ve found is an M inside a circle on the spine. Painted. The other is a steel mag, two ribs on the bottom, slightly deeper welds, I cannot find a single marking anywhere. No spine. And I believe they are blued. Please help

Is there such a thing as a 40round north Korean steel magazine? Or only south Korean
@peterv1318 Жыл бұрын
Yes they have 40 round North Korean mags very hard to get. They have to be smuggled in to America because of the sanctions.

@peterv1318 Жыл бұрын
The Chinese mags are the second best selling AK mags. Prices very on them at one point 50.00 now December of 2022 high end would be 30.00.

I would’ve enjoyed this More is just that I feel like if you have to explain to someone how to differentiate the magazine calibers then this video is obviously gearded for literal brain dead gun buyers, no hate on the channel because the guy (you) talking seems interesting and good personality, but it’s annoying having to sit there and listen to the MOST basic of basic facts. It’s like saying 2+2 is math and math has numbers in it. It’s just annoying cus I’m here for useful information not 2+2

Btw the "bakelite" mags are not made out of bakelite. But what to expect from an English speaking AK community. People even use the name of the prototype (AK-47) instead of the true name - AK.
@strahinjastevic74804 жыл бұрын
I think most are aware of that but still use it anyway, just like the false pronounciation of Garand.

Ak-47; No such thing. It's an AK, AKM or an AK-74. Other countries have their on versions. The AK-47 name was a mistake made in a US Army manual that never went away
