@TechnoRaver94 Actually, Ontario had a state or emergency and just had over 6 feet of snow in London and Sarnia early December this year. Around 300 motorists were stranded in the highway for more than 30 hours. The Canadian Forces had to use helicopters and army trucks to get to them. Fortunately the good citizens of London helped out until help arrived, Out of potential disaster of hundreds freezing to death, there was only 1 casualty.

(That was our record last year, so we might break our warmest record). But we'll see. They did say last month that Quebec was getting light flurries and ended up with major snow dumpage. @TechnoRaver94 It wasn't so much that we weren't ready. It was a combination of things. Aside from the snow and downtown Toronto's impossibly narrow streets, it was the same year as the amalgamation so typical Canadian bureaucracy made distribution of funds and equipment across the city stupid. The mayor actually asked to borrow equipment from the army, instead the Canadian Forces sent soldiers. (We were just as shocked as everybody else).

@TechnoRaver94 Ha-ha! Mother Nature is being schizo with Southern Ontario as well. It's been a weird winter here. It's like all disaster and snow dump catastrophe on Western Ontario, same in Northern Ontario... but here in Toronto, its almost like fall weather. Like we're in some kind of protective bubble. Forecast even says that Toronto will most likely be the warmest city in the country on New Years. Yes. Warmer than Victoria! I'm wearing my fall jacket because winter parkas are too hot.

(me) while Kurotoshi is for everything else with Rhin acting as her back up if she is unavailable for a project. By coincidence, we all happen to represent different aspects of Canada as well. Immigrant (me), French (Kurotoshi) and English (Rhin). We just need a First Nation Canada and we'll be complete!

Vancouver will always hold the record ^^ If I remember correctly during the Olympics the flowers were starting to bloom in the city, during a Winter Olympics. Weather in Canada has become increasingly unpredictable lately.. as for that it's just like how Calgary has always been ^^ (native Calgarian or 14 years) and you need to dress in layers and carry an umbrella no matter what time of year it is ^^

I can forgive people from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba laughing at us because they survive through worse snowfall than us in a regular basis like nothing, but a someone from "Beautiful BC where there's no snow at all"... its insulting. Just so you know, because of that, Toronto has devised a snow clearing system with major toys that would make the praries drool with envy. Snow is pretty much cleared in major st. & highways before it touches the ground.
