The way the song is structured is incredible. It's actually one pattern that starts with a major, happy feeling and gradually becomes more melancholic and sad, until the "Richard ! -Yep ?" part. It's like he is thinking about something, maybe his life and the nostalgia is growing as he goes deeper into his memory, until someone calls him and he snaps out of his daydream.

So many memories when I was first discovering IDM, fiddling around with music, riding my BMX, going out with friends to the park, relaxing, and delving into this whole music scene - all while listening to things like this, it's sure changed my life ever since I first heard it. Listening to it always brings me back, and I know for sure it's marked a point in my life. A point I am not going to leave anytime soon :)

I don't think it's slowed down. Was it always there, though? Double-checked, you're right. it was classically shifted down so its slower and lower in pitch. It is the song of the "King" in SMB3. cheers + muchlove

This reminds me of simpler times, when I was more innocent and carefree, all I cared about was fucking about with my mates, going to the local pub , smoking weed out in the woods now and again, overall just being without a care in the world having fun for the sake of it. :) Living in a British town may have something to do with this because the imagery is very reminiscent of the surroundings I grew up in xD
