It's amazing how sometimes music can make you feel things that can't be described with words. You feel all the different emotions at once, contradictions and all. You probably know what I'm talking about, if you're here. I hope all is well for you.

It’s six o’clock, I just woke up, still lying on my bed with a tear sliding down my face from yawning. I reached my phone, opened KZbin to check a notification and immediately clicked on this. The sun is beginning to rise. I can hear the birds singing in the woods nearby. It’s beautiful. What a way to start the day.

It just amazes me how powerful music like this can be to us listeners. It's even more beautiful to know that apex twin sat down and isolated himself, projected his thoughts and feelings into sound, and when it was to his liking, he let us in on his mind and soul. As I sit here at 2am repeating the song over and over, I cant help but think about the universe and our existence. I live for this type of stuff and it just makes me happy to know that what cant be expressed through words, only can be better captured in instruments. Life is beautiful, life is shit, life is everything we think of it and that's the beauty. I'm glad I'm alive to hear this over and over again.

This song... This song makes me cry like a little baby. Makes me think of these yellow clouds as a unreal place where everything is okay, just like a warm childhood dream where everything seemed to last forever, in that sweet and calm joy. But, most importantly, it makes me think of love. Of how love, in my vision, is supposed to be: a safe haven shared by two people with the purpose of growing together. Full of care, intimacy and respect. No loneliness and no farewells. And this song just touches deeply into my false illusion of this feeling, just like the warm childhood dream. This song destroys me... but I can`t stay without it.

This track makes me think of when I was only a young child. Everything seemed so simple, so blissful. Where every day felt like a journey, where a single painting could take me on an adventure, where everything seemed beautiful. Now that I'm a teenager, everything seems so different than how it did back then. Everything seems boring and monotonous, even the things that I genuinely love give me an underlying feeling on monotony. Everything but this track.

A couple months ago I turned 18. I decided I'd come back to this same comment I left years ago and see if I feel the same. When I wrote this I was 14, and I had been struggling with depression. It was an extremely difficult period of my life, but I managed to overcome it. Now, I'm doing much better. I'm living a happy life with friends and family who support me and make feel happy. I usually do just three things in my free time (playing video games, watching KZbin videos, chatting on Discord), but I do these things with a smile on a face because although it might be boring, it makes me happy. I'm not even worried about what I'll do in the future anymore. And you know what? It was thanks to this song here that helped me get to the gradual process of rethinking my situation and realizing just how grateful I am to be living the life I'm living. And despite everything, despite all the insanity of the current world events, I'm happy to be alive in this day and age. Thank you, Aphex Twin.
