@Joel gets bored and does a KZbin indeed, i did cry like a baby. he opened the Brooklyn 2019 show with this. I was in tears right out of the gates. i felt very lucky to be there. and then he proceeded to blow our brains out. holy fuck what a show. i flew from LA to see it. never flown to a concert before. But i had to once i got the tickets. I was so lucky- i got the email at 7am from the Aphex Twin mailing list announcing there was a show in Brooklyn coming up and clicked on the link and suddenly found myself in the queue for tickets. i was like wait, what????? holy mother, i'm going to see Aphex Twin play a warehouse in Brooklyn??!?!?! YES!

@@GiveMeAnOKUsername honestly I'm saying that by pur guesswork, i'm not sure of course but I've watched a lots of cs80 videos and I found this special nasalish sound on this polysynth. I would swear it's a cs80. knowing that rdj own one but I'm probably wrong
@theoriginaldanalogue Жыл бұрын
@@leethium6982 highly likely he could have a CS80. I read somewhere that he also has a DX1. Very rare but this definitely sounds analogue. Several synths layered together in this one it seems. That filtered melody could also potentially be his ARP2600 as I am familiar with the Arp sound. The thing is though, we’re likely never to know as he creates such unique timbres that no one can match.
@Jonathan-mt9up Жыл бұрын
Definitely a CS-80, judging by the tonal character of the filters, the polyphonic aftertouch, and the ring modulation at the 2:43 mark.
