Find myself coming back to this every so often, year after year, and I gotta say, this arrangement is almost just as good as the original. Xtal has always had a very special place in my heart, bringing me back to hazy early mornings, just before sunrise, after partying all night, listening to it and the rest of the album. That being said, it’s very rare I hear an arrangement/cover here on KZbin that blows me away so much that I want to listen to it almost as much as the original.

I've been wanting to do a classical cover similar to this and after analyzing the main chord progression I came up with a six string tuning that is very close if not identical to his using the same setup: Bb D C F F C Capo on the fifth fret, spider capo at the twelfth fret covering strings two and five. Hope this helps anyone else trying to recreate this tuning

why not it’s a capo that has like six little legs that can move independent of each other, so for example you could put a spider capo on your guitar but only capo strings 1-3 while strings 4-5 aren’t capoed (?) and still open. I hope that makes sense.
