Generally what i have studied is headers,parameters and auth are part of given but in video u have shown them in when . Prerequisites to perform Request:- GIVEN E.g.- Setting the Base URI, Base Path, Content Type , Request body (Payload) , cookies, headers , authentication , params etc.

I would like to know how you are passing static data to the post method 1. You can pass using random string generator. 2. If you have set of data you want to pass, For example, you have list of serialnumber and you wanted to pick from that. In this case, you can store all the data to list or the appropriate collection and from there you can pick random.

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator. URI stands for Uniform Resource Identifier. URL is a subset of URI that specifies where a resource is exists and the mechanism for retrieving it. In real time, Personally these words are overlapped like smoke testing vs sanity testing
