API and SDK are not really related unless you mean to say that an SDK typically uses the interface design pattern for customers. An SDK is something you use as part of a buildsystem, which is provided to you by a hardware vendor (or some other service entity such as Apple providing an entire platform). If you build embedded hardware, the SOC vendor will give you a "BSP" which is a type of SDK. I haven't watched the video, but I guess it has merit since the commenters really do appear to have this question.

An SDK implies hardware support, such as drivers and a specific buildsystem or platform. A framework implies a specific user experience, such as a React or iOS app. Both of those includes libraries, which can be loosely described as a set of functions, procedures, or programs published under a single namespace with its own memory.
