I started getting my girls at 13 for Christmas presents and for stockings two to three things they could use for college or when they get their on place. But unique gifts like tea cups, quilts, throws from grandma or someone special that they have used, letters and recipes from grandma, aunts ect into books.just be creative.My girls loved their hope chest

I want to say thank you so much for recommending the dog pillows! We got stationed in Korea for the next two years with the military and were not able to brings our two dogs. We are trying to bring them over currently since they are with family but my little one is always asking for them 😭. I went on the website and immediately ordered two. my husband got it for me. the comfy would have needed to be imported so i got the jml huggle hoodie instead. its a fairly well known brand in the uk and was available on prime delivery. i have worn it all christmas i have washed it and got it straight out of the dryer and put it back on 😂😂😂

My daughter started using Spectrum markers. They are a little cheaper and work just as well. My daughter was into art and graphic design. I encouraged her to leave it and do engineering. She is so happy she did.Now art is her hobbie. But her artist background has aided her career. Keep encouraging daughter drawing!

LOVE these gifts! My daughter draws, too and LOVES her Copic markers. I would have never thought of a planner...hmmm...that is a wonderful idea. My 13 year old MIGHT be a tad too young for it though, but I will consider it.... LOVE all these ideas...as always. :) BTW... are you still buying them the non-toxic nail polish you talked about in years passed? (I can't think of the name), but I'd be interested in that, as my daughter is getting more interested in nails. I'm not ready for her to try the KISS glue ons yet, she's still a little rough on her nails, but I hate the chemical smell of mainstream nail polish... :( Do you have a link to the polish you use?

Thanks! No, at this point we aren't considering it. When we got Bean they told us that it's ok to have only one so that's what we did. Plus, she's with us all of the time, which I realize isn't a substitute for another guinea pig, but I still feel like she's happy.

Copics are always a hit with my 11 year old too. My Mom and husband got her some last year and this year shes getting more. That illio sketchbook bleeds with copics. My daughter has one and loves it though. She never uses the backs of pages so its ok :P She is hounding me for a kingdom hearts hoodie too....but when I ask her what she wants she always says "i dunno surprise me" >.>

A Place to Nest copics are the best for the money because as long as you buy the sketch you can refill them. She’ll never need to rebuy. Just don’t get the skinny chao ones like I think your husbands work got her a few years ago (if I remember right) those don’t refill. Copic sketch has a brush and chisel bib and I think 1 refill is 15 markers worth of that color.

People who have anemia, diabetes, lupus, scleroderma, thyroid disease, poor circulation or nervous system disorders may be more susceptible to having cold hands. Might be worth mentioning at her next checkup. Could also just be how her body responds.

I think it's just how her body works because we've had a CBC done and everything came back good. She's probably like me and has low blood pressure which always makes us colder.
