look.. Jordan Pudnik, is not that great of a singer, but he is a great front man. The thing is, he uses poor vocal technique. He sings very nasally, which gets you that early 2000's pop punk sound, but is definitely NOT good for the longevity of your vocal career. He still sang a lot of great songs, and probably will sing a lot more good ones, but it doesn't translate very well live unfortunately. Tom Delonge sings a lot like that too and he sounds way worse now in my opinion. Love them both though!

So many people keep saying "It's the mics" - no, it's not the mics, that doesn't even make any sense! What does that even mean? What mics? Just... What?! It's the _mix_ - it's just a really terrible mix. Far too much focus put on the vocals. Some people have been saying "It probably sounds like this because this is taken straight from the soundboard with no tweaks", but no, that's not the problem at all. It's either a bad broadcast mix, using a seperate mix from live, or it's just a poor live mix, having _this_ playing out the speaker at the venue can't sound good! It's so empty. If it was a really good live mix and we were just using it raw without any adjustments made to sound good in a broadcast, then yeah, that wouldn't be so great, but it still wouldn't sound like _this_ It doesn't help that crowd microphones for this are also turned all the way down.

+Lauren Sabino When they kicked off their tour for the release of the album his first shows were amazing but by the end the tour his voice was so bad. I haven't kept up lately on their tours but I'm sure he hasn't recovered, from being in a band trust me when I tell you that there's no way in hell you can play more then 20 shows in a row without taking a huge blow at your voice. That's why when I see top singers who don't lose their voices on massive tours I'm just in shock, cause even with vocal exercises your voice is dead after a few shows. Look up some of the first shows they did in LA, they sounded awesome.
