I've seen tons of comments about how other people deserve the award more than the winner and I'm just sitting here thinking, why can't you just be happy for the person who won. I personally think tony deserves it and if anybody else won, I think they deserve it too but I won't be sitting behind my screen saying how other people should have won. Alternative Press are letting kids who lack knowledge in both guitar playing and drumming determine the winner and that's what makes it shit. i love all of these bands... they're all amazing guitarists, and they are all very deserving of this award, I am very happy for Tony because he's never really recognized within his own band, but honestly it would've been a better, more driven, competition if the fandoms (mostly fangirls) were more aware and thoughtful about the other nominees, rather than just picking and choosing their favorites, but then again many things are like this, so we can't really do anything about it but be happy for the winners and give the other nominees the same respect...
