As I’m watching this on Sunday September 15th Silver shot up from $29 on Friday to $31.50 on Sunday night before markers even opened up. That’s an 8% move. Wait till Wednesday when the Fed drops rates. $35 here we come

Both when I can. I'll probably buy until Gold gets to 3k and silver gets to $150. Then sell.for farm equipment for my future hobby farm / orchard/ homestead. I'm up $685 an oz on gold and $8.35 per oz on silver since I started stacking over a year ago. Having a good time learning and saving. Hopefully hedging against inflation.

Silver is more fun to collect and there are some beautiful poured silver artworks out there. I sold all my gold a few years ago with silver at $14-15 oz. and bought silver in its place. It was a smart move then, but if the ratio gets much higher I'll just be breaking even. I expect silver will move parabolically higher at some point in the next year or two, getting the ratio back in the 70s. Rooting for the historical average of 1:42, but gladly settle for the 50s!

with gold at record highs, if TSHF, it would be much easier to barter with silver, with gold at 3K or more an ounce it would be hard to get change back, and easier to get whacked...I'm backing up the truck with more silver...

The historical average is 1:42, but the trend has been for that ratio to grow. If it returned to the historical norm silver spot would experience a dramatic rise. Some silver investors are betting on a return to the historical average.

I started with silver, however, gold is the one that has given me the better returns simply because it has lower premiums to purchase. I still feel silver is undervalued, and as always, when it takes off it will offer better returns than gold.

Gold /Silver ratio at 85 to 1, historically at 50 to1. That also based on silver deficits tells me silver is way undervalued. Add in the BRICS hoarding precious metals tells me Silver will go up substantially in the next 3 years.

Love your guys content! Very professional👍. I am currently reluctantly waiting for a new cycle to start and not purchasing precious metals at the moment. If anything am hoping to see the gold silver ratio hit 70 to 1 and possibly might convert some holdings and acquire more gold! Have been very spoiled picking up Silver during the Covid crash and keep telling myself it will get back to $23.50 one day! At this point its pretty much living in a Pipe Dream but we will see! In the meanwhile have swapped out investing in Precious Metals and concentrated more on adding more funds to Treasuries. You can never go wrong with more yield .Especially when Gold and Silver are this expensive. The plan is to come back to Gold and Silver in a few years when things normalize.

Everything is Relative. Is gold and silver expensive in what sense? If the dollar continues losing value due to excessive spending, paper money printing, funding wars that literally just blow up money, and BRICS offcially coming out with a currency backed by gold, many will look back and say how cheap gold and especially silver are at the moment.

Very silver heavy and staying that way until the g/s ratio goes below 60 then I’ll rotate into gold about 20-30% there and again per 10 drop on the ratio, depending on various factors. Probably never going to hold more than 80/20 gold, because silver might become near extinct in my lifetime, making the price ridiculous. All I really want is to see is a 50-1 ratio with gold prices caught up again to money supply, I’d be on easy street.

But overall the silver market ( as all markets) are manipulated so they can make a lot of money with the money you give them to invest. This world is so upside down and crooked, unbelievable. I think the gold to silver ratio will return to the mean (it always does). Current ratio range is historically extremely high. The mean would take the ratio down to somewhere around 30-40. Buy silver now, trade it for gold then.

The real trend is much higher for both metals. $5,000 Gold is already baked into future price based on uncontrollable US budget deficits and a debt bubble which can only be paid by debasing the U.S. dollar. This will lead to waves of new inflation and Gold will move to $3,000, $3,600, $4,200 and $5,000+ in a matter of a few yrs at most. Not one major government has shown any fiscal control so Gold’ march towards $5,000+ oz is inevitable. I started buying Gold when it was $500/oz and I was told it was a pet rock and I was an imbecile. Since then every major economic power has bought more physical Gold in last 10 yrs than in any time in the last 125 yrs. They are all continuing to buy Gold quarterly. Who’s laughing now?

15:1 (more or less) historical ratio. but people use up silver, but gold, not so much. silver has got a long way to go. i don't expect this to happen, but if u.s. gold reserves are used to settle the national debt.... holy shit, that's $132,000 an oz for gold, which means $8800 an oz for silver. ergo, you gotta give a grocery store around $2000 paper currency for a loaf of bread. $4000 of practically worthless paper currency for a lb of cheap hamburger. i'm assuming someone will actually accept paper with ink on it for something tangible.

The manipulation of silver continues. Same thing with gold. But definitely silver has illegal but allowed manipulation occuring. If gold and silver were not allowed on paper or derivatives of physical, this would be a totally different market. I hold physical, but my attitude would be very different if I held them on paper. I would most likely just trade them back and forth like a stock to acquire more "fiat".
