श्री राजपूत राष्ट्रीय करणी सेना के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सुखदेव सिंह गोगामेड़ी की नृशंस हत्या के मामले में पूर्व मंत्री राजेन्द्र सिंह गुढ़ा ने कहा है कि इसके लिए मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत जिम्मेदार है। गुढ़ा ने कहा कि इंटेलीजेंस इनपुट था लगातार मांग की गई, इसके बावजूद सुखदेव सिंह को पुलिस सुरक्षा नहीं दी गई। यह एक राजनीतिक हत्या है।
थिंक से बात करते हुए राजेन्द्र गुढ़ा ने कहा कि गोगामेड़ी को थ्रेट था और वे उनके साथ राजस्थान के एडीजी क्राइम, डाइरेक्टर जनरल आफ पुलिस तथा गृह सचिव से मिले थे। परन्तु किसी ने भी उन्हें सुरक्षा नहीं दी। यही नहीं गुढ़ा ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत गोगामेड़ी की हत्या के लिए जिम्मेदार है क्योंकि इन अधिकारियों का कहना था कि उपर से आदेश मिलना है। गृह सचिव के उपर गृहमंत्री होते हैं जो कि खुद गहलोत थे। ऐसे में सीधे तौर पर वे इस राजनीतिक हत्या के​ लिए जिम्मेदार है।
