I had an extremely unpleasant experience meeting wolverine in the wild. The situation is just like in a bad horror movie. I got lost in the mountains, without food, trying to find a way to the last camp place, and then I notice noticeable notches on a tree that I had not seen before. And then, about 50 meters from the tree, fluffy lump that left them there. 10/10 horror experience. How many times have I run into a bear, never shit myself like this

They're not that unnecessarily aggressive, but they're very territorial. So yes, instead of a meth addict, we get a guy who has a shotgun at home and who has wet dreams about how a robber will break into his house someday.

In the game Far Cry 4, which takes place deep in the Himalayas, you can hunt (or be attacked by) all kinds of dangerous animals, including sudden assault eagles. Sometimes one after another, after another, leading to snarls of confused traffic and guns going off everywhere. One potential issue is a horde of honey badgers attacking FROM ALL SIDES AT ONCE, using PACK TACTICS. You come into that situation, you bring a belt-fed friend if you know what I'm saying.

I actually know what paper the otter seal thing came from. This behavior was only observed in 3 male otters.....out of a population of like 14,000. That is 0.0214%, less than half of half of 1%. That is not enough to denote a consistent behavior. Keep in mind most researchers will throw out data under 5% when it comes to describing consistent animal behaviors. I'm half convinced they even included it in the paper because it was just to weird not to.

Isekai does not mean reincarnation at all. Isekai simply means other world. It just so happens a lot of modern isekai happen via reincarnation. Digimon Adventure is an isekai and the characters aren't reincarnated for that to happen. Shield Hero is also an isekai and Naofumi wasn't reincarnated. SAO can be considered an isekai and guess what? No reincarnation. Overlord is an isekai. No reincarnation.
