For me it adds richness to God, that though he said, "Let there be light," also was and became "light"-as he was already the "word" that brought light into existence. The nature of light always has a source and a limit. So he who is eternal and without limit, also became the Alpha and Omega-the beginning and the end. The "only" proper response to revelation is worship? I have to add, "inquiry." Not academic inquiry, but interactive inquiry with the living God who has presented himself to be known (John 17:3).
