I wish I knew what was Perttu's inspiration to write such a delicate yet sad song.... Was it just a musical idea which was written well professionally or was it a loaded gun to express all deep feelings beneath? .... I always wonder....I was 15 years old when this song came out and it was my favorite I love it more than bittersweet and life burns... This song beats the every other Apocalyptica song which has a famous vocalist included... I am 30 and still in love with it like when I was 15...

My brother passed away last month. I found this song shortly after his funeral. It reminds me so much of him. I miss him terribly but hearing this makes the grief easier to bear.

Absolutely adore this version. I listened to farewell the day of my nan's funeral 12 years ago. Brings back happy yet painful memories. The connection And passion Perttu brings to this beautiful piece of music is mind blowing, the slight changes makes me love this song even more.
