Great reaction as always. I've followed Apocalyptica since they did their Metallica cover album but never heard of Nina Hagen before. Off to check her out some more. If you want some Rammstein you can't go wrong with the 'Mutter' album. A timeless classic. :)

Apocalyptica made one of my favourite albums Shadowmaker and in it there's a song called Hole in my soul that, as we say here in Portugal, would make the stones cry (very poorly translated but I try). Yes I sure my son (the birth one) has played Rammstein to me before and I think I even notice this track... as you say i don't understand German but that would never stop me listening to such brilliant music, now if you say she is the grandma of punk in the 80s... what does that make me from the 70 punk scene 🤣🤣 ok "Old". Yes, Nina is amazing! And so are you. Really sympathetic guy and I love your reactions. But I don't really know what you mean, there are dozens of videos of her. She done a lot of stuff. By the way, "Naturträne" is one of the two songs of the first album of her first west german band "Nina Hagen Band" that was written entirely by her. The other one is "Fisch im Wasser". All the other songs were composed by the other band members and all the lyrics were written by her, except for "Pank", which was entirely written and composed by her and Ari Up from "The Slits" and "TV-Glotzer" which is a cover of "White Punks on Dope" by "The Tubes", but she wrote entirely new lyrics in german for that song. Also two bands you should check out. "The Slits" are a really amazing punk band from London and also "The Tubes" are really good.

But would love to push you towards another female fronted German metal band with the name Null Positiv with the singer Elli Berlin. She has a very versatile voice - although not classically trained. As a first glimpse take a look at their song "Wo Rauch ist, ist auch Feuer / Where there is smoke, there is a fire" kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooCsqmCfa8iSn6s. It is more of a power ballad in German (all of their songs are in German) but has English subtitles (for whatever reason in this video they are titled as German subtitles). Enjoy!

@@Magnereacts You might enjoy Sopor Atenternus & The Ensemble Of Shadows, a musical project by Anna-Varney Cantodea, who acts as the sole composer and lyricist. While she hails from germany, her lyrics are mostly in English and many view her as sort of a icon of the german Gothic underground. While she's not very fond of being perceived a such, it can't be denied she's an unique human being who has created a lot of dark yet beautiful music over the course of her musical career (She's been active since 1989).
