Unscheduled television transmission from the Apollo 11 Command Module on the second day of the mission, at 030:27:55 GET. The spacecraft was approximately 120,000 nautical miles [220,000 km] from Earth. The image shows the displays on the DSKY unit in the command module, the crew's interface with the spacecraft's computer. The poor quality of the signal is caused by the use of the spacecraft's omnidirectional antennae instead of its high gain dish array.
