When it comes to the kit i love it but i dont live in the most friendly of areas and i loved the key lock because that means that someone cant just run up and power it up and leave, is there an idea on the future to make a throttle like in the upgrade kit but have a key lock for those that want it and that extra security

Smooth directions I broke my rear break line listing to your instructions. why don't you tell people to attach a string or something before pulling it out..... AND you don't need to remove your handle bars at all for the install of ANYTHING do you guys know your scooter?

I'm finally going through my upgrade kit and it looks like some of the items have already been done? My Apollo had cable management done, screen and mode both have the quick connector, I think it even has the steel kickstand? The only things I'm sure aren't the new version is the throttle and it doesn't have the neck reinforcement attached. Did I get something like an phantom 1.5?

Perfect. The only thing I would rather do is to replace the kick stand before anything else to assure more stability during the rest of the process. In my experience, the kick stand was the only concern so far. Thanks for the amazing customer support and product.

when I felt safe to look down my phantom, first edition read 73 kph. there was massive shake too, how do i get rid of that? it could have and wanted to go faster, just the shake scared the crap out of me. I never had over heating issues either, will i with this upgrade?

So if we use the upgrade kit I'll lose the security of having a key ignition? I'm a bit disappointed that we only recently received the scooter and then we get an upgrade kit. Seems like an oversight to me especially at the cost and delays we experienced. Also the new accelerator doesn't fit the handle bars anyway. Very disappointed for what is supposed to be a high end scooter.

hi my bud sold me his apollo phantom v1 i think its the first genr,v1 when i brought it the neck was cracked i went on it for a second and it broke in half ,so i got replacement which cost £35 pounds,uk. so its been replaced and also i had to buy bearing for the neck,that they dont tell you about,So anyway fixed it all back to gether,then went to put in my boot ,while trying to lower the handel bars to fold it went down and smashed the display unit which at this time i was pissed, as you can guess now i need a new display ,my question is this I can get the apollo v2 display screen for £50 will this work ok with the v1 ? I know theres upgrades but i just want to know if it will work ??thanks for your help.regards Colin

Update: I've confirmed the key ignition is gone in the V2. Options are to buy and install the V1's combined throttle + key (and deal with the poor throttle response), or keep the new throttle and install a third party key ignition wired in at the deck - but I've confirmed doing so void the warranty on the controllers. Not super impressed. I will be sticking with my Phantom V2 order, but *only* because the hydraulic Ghost and Pro are out of stock in my area with a multi-month ETA for restocking.

@@gamemakerjunior Seem like am gonna have to live with old key throttle cause not everyone lives in a nice city/neighborhood where some folks have respect for others where I live in NYC if you turn your back for to long your scooter is gone bye bye cause I rather having the chance of catching up to you in a foot race 🏃🏽 than you leaving me with my scooter in the dust at 35mph with absolutely no chance so any security is better than no security it is what it is..👍🏽

Decided to keep the good throttle, and buy an alarmed brake disc lock that I keep in a little hanging pouch, rather than downgrade the throttle or mess with the scooter's electrics (and warranty). Less convenient than a key, but the small inconvenience is probably worth it for the better throttle. Both the key and brake disc lock are just deterrents for low security stops... if you are actually going to walk away from the scooter and out of sight, they're both *totally* inadequate. Get a high end D lock for that :)

I really need help. I can't get the rear brake line to feed back through the hole. It's absolutely ridiculous. There is something blocking the feed. The right rear light move when trying to feed it through the hole, like it's blocking the brake line. I tried feeding it backwards and there is a lot of resistance.

Can you also demonstrate how to replace the front deck cover with hydraulic brakes? I am concerned that brake oil may leak when unscrewing it's connection from the brake caliper. Also, what's the difference between the old and new front covers as they look exactly the same to me?

The grips were in no way easy to pull off, also it seems that the hydraulic brake handles don’t use a 5 mm. The 4 mm is the one that worked for me, instead. I also had to knock the old kick stand off with a hammer after taking the bolts out because of some sort of adhesive that was on it. Just a note to anyone else having issue getting the old one to come off.

It's good to see a brand that is tacking steps to please not just future but existing customers. Still missing front turn signals and fast charger as standard at least for the top of the line Phantom. I will buy one the day you will have these added.

Is this going to address the All or Nothing behavior of the throttle? Will I be able to throttle at 25% and get 25% of power delivered to the wheels?

I'm getting blank screen (backlit works) with a new installation kit. After disconnecting new throttle cable, screen works with Error 8 code. Once I plug the throttle back, screen goes dark again.

oh my gosh, all these for free? some of these were basically my initial complaints with the original apollo phantom, that i had because of other youtubers. Unfortunately, I ended up purchasing my first scooter, the kaabo mantis pro se, it was on sale at a 20% discount. If the phantom was on sale i would’ve hands down picked the phantom over the mantis. I love how the phantom looks, the display, and the thumb throttle. 😍

To me personally living in NYC any security is good security so I will still prefer the old key trotting design for just the fact a peace of mind it provides no one can just jump on your scooter turn the power on & ride throttle away with it which makes it much easier to catch up to thieves than them speeding away from you & you're doomed & hopeless cause anyone has a phantom knows you'll be in the hospital trying to pickup & run away with that scooter in a foot race without power..🔋🤕🚑🏥🤣😅

WARNING!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT TAKE OUT THE REAR BRAKE LINE FOR ANY REASON!!!! I have been sitting here for 3 hours trying to get it to feed back through but it gets stuck, the wire bends, the little metal collar holding it in place breaks off and is now lost in the scooter, and I am now stuck with a 2000 dollar scooter with no rear brakes.

Not exactly upgradeable as stated in your advertising if it cant work on the 60v version. it was the reason i brough one.i have a 60v phantom and ive been told nothing is still avaliable 27.4.23 .surely theres a fix for overtemping on the controller internal fan heatsinking more transistors in parallel come on!

Not one word about the re-enforced brace, where they are cracking, breaking and putting people in danger. V1 should of been recalled. instead of sending out cheap fixes, there should have been a v1 to v2 trade in option. I'm extremely disappointed as to how Apollo handled this part of the defect and not even mention it in the upgrade video, looks like a cover up. I can live with the other stuff. Dim display light,- jumpy throttle and kickstand but I can't live with the fact that my scooter could break in half while traveling at any speed, much less 30mph or more. 👎

We sent the neck brace and the installation video directly to all our Phantom customers, and discussed the improvements, including the extra reinforced frame, in our Apollo Phantom V2 video. This video is specific to just the other upgrade parts that we provided for free to all our customers.
