Can me ask you for a bit of help? So i am fitting an XP95/discovery locking cap, on me discovery bass sounder beacon, as i want to have it as a sounder only. But what do i need use to lock it in its place? I see a tiny screw, but absolutely none of me screwdrivers work with the thing.

Hi, I’m unsure. As I have only had experience with the C-Tec ActIV sounder with the locking cap and it just clicks in for me. To release it there is push down plastic clip that needs to be released to open it. I’m not sure about the Discovery sounder beacon base as I only put detectors on. Hope you get it sorted out.

@@j1firesystems440 No problem. I found out today that, you have to do it with, 1.5mm allen key, in order for it to properly lock it in place. Otherwise the cap would go on but not lock in it place. I have this morning ordered one and it is on it’s way.

Do you plan on getting a Xpander Call point for the Garage or that.

I tried to get an Xpander call point but due to the supply of them there wasn’t many available. I also waited 2-3 months for it. I may get one in the near future.
