The French Resistance and Russian Army had women, so they decided to include women customization options. The issue I guess is that players can still play as a woman when playing for nazis or other factions that didn’t historically allow women. Honestly tho, I don’t think it’s a big deal. There are SO many games with WW2 historical accuracy that having one with more flexibility is a breath of fresh air.

@@onesob13 Honestly, I think its a matter of unconscious sexism. Some are blatantly obvious, but there are many of course that honestly believe its the lack of historical accuracy that bothers them. And those individuals may not even realize. Its a pity really. BFV's woman inclusion doesn't bother me any more than BF1's inclusion of rapid fire rifles and submachines.
