Yep it can be overwhelming. We don't actually need to do everything just select the best way to go about it. However most gamers have a completionist mind set and its troublesome to have so many things in the plate and the fear of missing out is the drive for most burn out. Well it is within the territory of a competitive landscape but they could lessen the burden though like increase the amount we receive but retain the cap. Example doing 1 elder rift would give 16 embers to cut the weekly task for that game mode in half. Same principle in hidden lair. The most troubling part is the market the feeling of no progression on plat. probably caused by changes in restrictions that affected the botters and alt farmers. But mostly i think its the demand of normal gem as there new things to work on like gems in awakened slot, a shift of focus can be the direct cause. Or probably the demand for normal gems had died down, it was only selling good because of the new green set peice at that time requiring normal gems.

Actually the time and effort to complete all the tasks (not all but the main and most important ones) is too much for normal people/casual players. The fact that I can't complete all the important content of the game is a problem not only for me but for the game itself: if you feel overwhelmed by all those tasks and you believe that it's impossible to do everything, the most natural reaction is to say “ok, let's take a break from this”. The other problem is that it’s too boring! You spend all your time in game doing tasks with no time to enjoy the game, the community and playing with your friends. Same result: “let’s take a break from this”.

They need to decrease the requirements to 1/3rd and keep or even double the prizes( 12 rifts, 7 layers, 3 terror rifts, 10 or less shadow activities, etc. It is full time job to cap everithing every week.

The problem is not the game modes, it's the bad drop rates and lack of ways to farm platinum.

The rune drops are nearly non-existent since the introduction of the blue rune. Imagine what it's going to be like when the gold runes turn up. They just want us to buy them from the marketplace, the game has always been p2w, but lately, it has become ridiculous. No wonder people are leaving.

I didnt buy single run. I get all of them from open world farm and dungeons. Blue ones are rare yes but i get them all in like few days.

Rune drop suck. And I finally decide to quit terror rift as the 13 min time gated too for a drop that I can farm in dungeon except for the eternal magic is not worth my time. Now I run only lair and random dungeon. At least lair I got gem, dungeon I get scrap, gold, legendary, gem, green.

Greedease should learn from the anniversary event and let us collect double. 11 runs for hidden lairs and elder rift is enough.

Agree and disagree. Market sucks 100% agree. But I don’t “have to” max all those other events. I do my 3 dungeons, legacy of H, and 8 bounties daily. Other than that I prioritize lairs. I don’t really do the new modes or terror rifts. I only run elder rifts when I have crests to burn, running 30+ for 1 crest is just silly.

Even as the higher spender type they made it worthless to grind crests. You can’t make platinum selling anything anymore. Can’t sell high level pets or 3/4 star gems for anything except garbage amounts of plat that makes it more worth it to buy the platinum straight. Which defeats the purpose of playing the game in the first place.

I agree with everything Apo! The thing that drives the the F2P and Low spenders to play was actually the market .Not the free crests but rather grinding your hidden lairs and dungeons on a daily base ,selling and buying at one point the best suitable gems for you . Developers should concentrate on that issue .Players were thinking that after merge we will have better opportunity for selling but by my opinion it got even worse.If someone does not fix that ,this amazing game will be buried

At 330 Paragon I'm finding the game dull. As a low spender, And a hard grinder, selling my stuff for platinum to rank up is getting slower and slower. The market is slowing me down. And rewards are less rewarding. So unless I want to drop my rent money on the game to compete in PvP. Then this game is kind of dead for me. Aka time to move on. 😢

Why dev team kept telling us that drop rate for runes are increased in the new game mode is a bold face lie… I ran 10 lairs, 10 elder, and 10 dungeons I got about 1 blue runes 8 gray runes. I ran 20x each portal got zero runes.

I am surprised you haven't mentioned that for many (if not the most) players the main reason for lack of motivation is not aby game event but just massive server merges. That took away chances from becoming immortal or to be even in Rite of Exile for so many players.

Agreed! Its becoming a Job…. Sure there a lot to do, but for those who need time to do normal things in life, the game has too much to do. NEETs will love it…. Not use who have a life 😁

I did take previous breaks from the game, but always when I came back, it was kinda fun. But now I have a perception that the game is just impossible to keep up even if you play every day. The only changes you might see in your character are if you're a big spender and the months have become long and the play just a chore. It is not for casual players. Have fun, guys. The interaction with other players was the most attractive part for me.

In my opinion, the game is intended as it is. Some people just are just willing to get every single task done with just little rewards. For me, as long as I get those 12% badges, I don't have to do anything extra. I got a full time job so I don't have much time to get everything done. The game is designed to give you what you need with your current paragon level.

I play only events. I almost never do dungeons unless there is hungering moon or we hit a new cap. In fact, I don't even do my lairs. It's all too much of a grind, it's impossible to do everything in the week. Forget normal gems, if you do 12 a day and 21 lairs a week; you'll gain one rank at the end of the year. 35 rifts lol, I haven't done that since the first months of the game. It's not worth it. (reward is equivalent to 10 normal gems) So, like I said .... I only do fun events. BG, Brawl, Trials, Survivor's Bane, etc Playing a game for fun, as it should be.

I have familiars but I couldn't sell. Familiars are sold for only 500 platinum and familiar with rare skills are sitting for months in the market and no one is burying them. free tp play are slowly leaving the game due too slow platinum progression.

My only objective in this game right now is to get my gear to level 30. After my daily routine I’ll spend another hour or so grinding scrap while I watch tv or KZbin. I don’t waste my time doing terror rifts and battle grounds. There are better games out RIGHT NOW that we can play.

hidden lairs are not that rewarding so why waste time on that.. Terror rifts can be completed in 1 to two days after collecting 10 terror essences.. the shadow quest needs to be changed!!!

Here is what I don't understand. I've played Diablo 3 for years, season 7-26 and had a lot of fun with it. Do play Diablo 4 and can grind out gear and builds and just enjoy the game. The only reason why I play Diablo Immortal is to get my crusader fix. Why not play Diablo 4 so you can just play not have to worry about opening your wallet all the time? Just play Immotral causally if you wanted. It seems Immortal players don't play any other Diablo's and wondering why that is? Immortal is basically Diablo 3 mobile.

Hell no, that would suck, that would be the end of the game. 1. First, free to play players would not stand a chance. 2. Second the class balance would need to be fixed. As it is now, I ignore PvP as much as possible as I am a light spender and perfer to play something other than tempest.

The content on this game is more than a mobile game. Please fix rune and set item drop rate, those thing take too much time and layered RNG to get. Another thing is i think small and medium spender hesitate to spend more money on this game anymore since the market is crashed and whatever we get from running elder is pretty much worthless. Please let us decide which 5* drop if any for progression.

@@ApollyonGaming Set item is always a problem, who have time to farm this. They do have 7 run pity system. Lets saya optimisticly you finished this with 3 minutes for 1 random dungeon with average 5 you get 1 drop. It's 15 minutes to get 1 random set item... for something you want, you need 5 to craft. So total you spent 75 minutes to get ONE set item you want with dunno what stat. Even if it's 2-2 with 3 slot you can consider you are very lucky. Then difficulty cathcing you up and everything back to ZERO Hahahahahhaha.... CRAZY. This game rotation is supposed to be: - Grind casually, get progression. - Get set item, legendary & eternal that you can tinker with build that suit with your play style. - Spend money to upgrade resonance. - Doing activity with clan & warband, social interaction. - Doing PvP and climb up ladder for fame & reward. At the end of the day is always PvP since PvE in this game is a joke. Boring and unrewarding.

Gear ranking? Stpd hard Making plat by playing? Low 300 a day Making plat by selling gems, pets and runes? Not worth it Ways to get gems by telluric pearls? Poor at leady 3 o 4 months of playing How many Lego crest do we get a week? 4 o 5 super poor. As u can see, everything is super poor. Playing for 12 hrs a day for basically nothing of progress? Yeah no. At this point most people have spent what their money and now resonance should be something u can get beyond 2k. Maybe enough to get to 4k o 5k in a year. This game not only is predatory but actually down right abusive with its players psychologically

I agree 100 %. As a low spender I ignore PvP as much as possible as it is pay to win and poorly executed by the lack of balance between classes and broken matching system. Keep as much PvE content as possible. The caps and low drop rates mean the FTP players can still enjoy the game and not loose to bots or people who have nothing better to do than play 12 hours a day. I log in, enjoy what I do, and go on with life. Thus is they way if diablo. Diablo has always been a grind, means there is always something to play for = longevity for those who enjoy the game. You spent too much time swimming with whales and PvP. Whales are leaving because : 1. They finally understand that there is no end to spending. 2. All the spending they do has little to no impact on PvE.
