What drew me to Deacon Harold was his comment on how when we divorce, we remove the cross from ourselves (as a married couple), and place it on our children. Wow. What a powerful statement that is.

The immaculate conception concept can be explained biblically. Mary as the new Eve. If Jesus is the new Adam, then there has to be also a new Eve. In Genesis, when Eve appeared it was already a wedding cos man met woman, happened on the 7th day. In John's Gospal, the wedding in Cana took place on the 7th day. (the 3rd day after 4 days had passed). There we see Jesus & his mother. So if Eve before the fall was created sinless & had a perfect nature, hence the new Eve also must have a sinless & perfect nature. But where Eve fell into sin & brought destruction to the world, Mary remained sinless & brought life to the world.

Britthegymnast Mary was human but this does not mean that she has sinned. There are people who have never sinned in their life. Examples would be children that were aborted in the womb and children who died very young before reaching the age of reason. We believe Mary is among this small category of people.

God only allowed Protestantsm because blacks would have too much flavor and style for my beloved gregorian chants and the slave owners would save all the wine for themselves because their own wives got far too fat early in life 🤦‍♂️
