In the second part of my interview with Apoorva Lakhia, he speaks about his bond with Sanjay Dutt and how Sanjay dubbed for his movie one night before his arrest.
He also speaks about his ex Dia Mirza and their current equation.
He also reveals how a lot of producers warned him to not cast Vivek Oberoi for Shootout At Lokhandwala, however, he still went ahead with his instinct and support from Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty.

He spoke about all his films, but not a word about Mission Istanbul. Even Sidharth Kannan didn't ask him anything about it. I remember that film particularly because I was a big fan of Vivek Oberoi after Company, Saathiya and Shootout At Lokhandwala. Mission Istanbul had released in monsoon and I pulled my bf out in the midst of heavy rains to watch the afternoon show and by the time we came out of the movie, half of Mumbai had drowned 😂😂😂 We had to keave the bike at Fun Republic theatre and walk in the rain with knee high water logged on the roads. That was an unforgettable experience. It was a mad action flick which I thoroughly enjoyed for its todfod maar-dhaad. If it had good story then it would be the biggest hit. But it was an entertaining film which got washed out literally due to rains. Me & my then bf, who's my husband now, we still remember and laugh about that day and cherish those beautiful memories. ❤
