Apopalypse is way to EASY now

Bloons TD 6 Update 41 made a MAJOR change to Apopalypse mode.
Before this update you did not receive any money at the end of each round but now that has changed. Each round you receive end of round cash which makes Apopalypse way too easy in BTD6. So I have to ask, what is the point of this game mode if it is now extremely easy?

To be fair it is now as hard as the other medium modes. But its reputation as a difficult mode is now gone.

as a medium level player whos been trying to black boarder all maps (mid way through intermediate) apopolypse has been so much easier after the patch. Its weird having extra money in this mode

Apopalypse still has the randomized rounds aspect to it that comes with a crazy difficulty spike after round 40. I think its a fantastic change, not having round end cash made the early game of apopalypse super stale and unnecessarily hard for a medium difficulty mode

I think 0 end of round cash was a bit too harsh, but maybe they could've done 50% end of round cash or something? 0 to full is quite a crazy change

Apopalypse definitely is in a weird spot after the update. Your suggestion was my initial thought as well, but I can't really justify why 50% would be a better, since that (to me at least) sounds too much like half cash. It's still harder than the other medium modes in the sense that bloons deploy immediately round after round, but at least now it's lost the trait of being harder than some hard gamemodes.

I think before appolypse felt weird because of the chaos and only a couple strategies that work. While now it feels too easy. I’m not sure I liked the difficulty before, But now it feels too easy.

​@@gaffeiaapopalypse was never that hard in terms of the entire mode. However early game was BRUTAL. All the difficulty comes from getting Towers up in the beginning, but once you actually get set up it's basically a normal game of alternate balloon rounds.

Hey dabloon. Just wanted to point out a few things you said in the video. -you do get more cash from farms from apopalypse. Atleast you did prior to the update. I would think they’d change this with the end of round cash addition but I don’t believe they did and that’s why it’s so unbalanced. You’re Actualy making more money than normal with the farms because you aren’t suppose to get end of round cash. - also on normal with auto start rounds come out one at a time, deploying the next round after you’ve popped all dabloons. However on apopalypse rounds come out one after another as soon as one round finishes deploying, reguardless or wether you finished the last round Bloons often resulting in multiple rounds of balloons on the screen at once so it’s quite different than auto start.

They should have 2 type of apopalypse. A hard mode and an easy mode for the hard one you get extra monkey money and easy you get the same amount

I feel like that would leave too many extra modes in hard. Since half cash and chimps are much harder than the other hard modes, they could make an extreme difficulty (much like the extreme maps) in which impopable would become the normal and half cash and chimps would be the extra modes (maybe even only support?). Then hard apopalypse could go in hard difficulty.

When I was playing apoplapse on ravine, it felt a lot slower for some reason compared to everything other apoplapse game before update 41.

Apopalypse has the randomized rounds and right as the Bloons from that round end the next rounds Bloons start coming out so those are the defining traits of Apopalypse

Maybe make it a setting after getting an Apopalypse achievement to toggle between original and new.

I love this change because apocalypse made no sense before, you had way less money AND randomized rounds that would end up being about as hard as ABR, arguably harder. So effectively it was half cash ABR as a “medium” mode which made me fume before, but now it’s actually in line with other the medium modes. Idk why it has random rounds but if they’re going to leave that aspect then at least they actually give you the money to deal with it now

In Apopolypse the next round comes out as soon as the last bloon from the previous wave does, so round 27 would start immediately after round 26 finished sending out Bloons.

And you can prevent round stacking by just exiting to home and back to save file

I would say apopalypse was a hard mode difficulty now it can actually be considered as a medium mode difficulty

I think that NK should've moved old apopolypse to the hard mode, then renamed the medium apopolypse to something else. It feels too trivial that we have the end of round cash now, thus maiing it MUCH easier., Like you said "A complete run breaker", and I think the game mode keeps you on your toes.

apopalypse isnt supposed to be hard, its not a hard difficulty, its a meium/normal difficulty!

at this point they should just remove this mode, it's just normal mode with forced autostart which most people already use, so it's just an annoying filler
