Being forbidden to speak your own language is not unique to the experience of Indigenous people. In Wales, children had to wear the “Welsh not” sign if they spoke Welsh at school. English governments were determined everyone would speak English. Being sexually abused by Catholic clergy is also not unique to them. [19:97] And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. [19:98] And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound ? 39:4] If Allah had willed to choose a son, He could have chosen what He would of that which He hath created. Be He Glorified! He is Allah, the One, the Absolute. [39:5] He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. He maketh night to succeed day, and He maketh day to succeed night, and He constraineth the sun and the moon to give service, each running on for an appointed term. Is not He the Mighty, the Forgiver ? [39:6] He created you from one being, then from that (being) He made its mate; and He hath provided for you of cattle eight kinds. He created you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, in a threefold gloom. Such is Allah, your Lord. His is the Sovereignty. There is no God save Him. How then are ye turned away ? [39:7] If ye are thankless, yet Allah is Independent of you, though He is not pleased with thanklessness for His bondmen; and if ye are thankful He is pleased therewith for you. No laden soul will bear another’s load. Then unto your Lord is your return; and He will tell you what ye used to do. Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men). ------------------------------------------------ .How many children would you like to have? Apostolic journey in a non-apostolic age. The apostolic age ended with Paul. Apostolic succession is nothing but myth. The book of Acts describes requirements for apostles. The most important if which is that the chosen apostle had to have seen the risen Christ. Scripture tells us that the last to have seen the risen Christ was Paul. So according to scripture there can be no more apostles. Everyone the church has claimed succession to Peter is a fraud, not according to biblical requirements. So everyone after Paul is counterfeit.

How was Christ supposed to establish his Church and spread the gospel given the mortality of mankind? Nothing is written literally in the Bible about that but, wouldn't it be possible that Jesus was basing it on a way of organizing things widely known for the time, so widely spread and of common knowledge that it wasn't written out?

@@rodylermglez just like it says in the bible. Catholics always seem to hunt at things that aren't written in the bible. Why? Well because most of what the church teaches is NOT in the bible. What a novel concept or belief by Catholics. "Not everything has to be in the bible to be true". Only problem with that is how do you disprove what satanists believe? All they have to say is that it doesn't have to be in the bible. How do you disprove Jehovah's, Mormon's, Muslims etc? You can't unless you have a standard. That standard is the bible. The ONLY book that can claim it is God's revealed word to us and the ONLY book that can it is pure and perfect. So as scripture tells not to trust man but to out our confidence in God. Not a difficult choice. Christ did establish a church, it just wasn't the RCC. You see Jesus said " I will build my church". Jesus never said build my catholic church. The church lives to use the bible like a "fill in the blank" book, inserting itself into scriptures where it sees fit. Reading Matthew 16 you can not conclude that it teaches either catholicism or much less the papacy. In fact Luke 22 destroys the myth that peter was a pope.
