@@shoyun I actually hadn't heard the original prior to this, but when I sent it to one of my friends who I know likes Apothecary Diaries he was immediately caught by how different the approach to the instrumentation and singing style is compared to the original, and said he thought it really suited the show. So I went to listen to the original and instantly I was like... it sounds like the song was written for you in the first place, and not the other way around? It really did turn out well!
