The original premise was simply to ask would imply the result. you are tacking on extra requirements after the fact. An illiterate mute would be unable to "answer the question nor write it on its own" which shows even the tacked on requiremnets are weak

It really was ahead of it's time when I think about it. Watching Altered Carbon, a lot of it felt like Caprica all over again..just with more of a Blade Runner vibe. It's still not the same though, this show just had something to it..that made it so different. The biggest problem was that this show came out long before the Netflix model, because this show would have been perfect for it. and I agree, it needed another two seasons. That montage set to this track gives me the chills whenever I see it, it was so brilliant and the last 5 episodes especially were so clever that I just knew season 2 would have been truly something special.

What with all the remakes going on recently, I could see a new bsg and with it, perhaps a prequel spin off. Also, with modern cg, I would love to see caprica and the rise of the cylons come to life

Sadly it was poorly acted and lacked depth...great concept but needed a bit more sense of reality from the cast and writing

As others have said. Caprica was before is time. 2009 was a different world to today. Our own views of technology and where we are going with tech has evolved a lot. How entertainment is obtained such as on streaming has changed a lot too. The Sci Fi genre is totally different. You have shows like Westworld, Raised by Wolves etc.

One of Bear McCreary's finest BSG related compositions from what was in my opinion one of the best scenes of the show, which is ironic considering it was only a season 2 teaser. Beautiful music for one of the best franchises out there.

+Mr. Tulip It's a massive shame this series wasn't allowed to be filmed on the timescale the writers had intended, with their plans as to how the first cylon war would unfold and begin, starting with the beginning of season 3. If you have to show anyone only four whole minutes of Caprica, it would be these four minutes - it was simply incredible TV.

@@margherito Right. I cannot see how a composer like McCreary that have written such exquisite pieces of music for BSG and Caprica could have done such a mediocre job on the Rings of Power. I guess that show was doomed (for a good reason) to fail from the get go and all the talent they could gather didn't changed anything. Nothing good grows in a rotten soil.

I don't think you can read that much into. Caprica was put together after BSG had finished, by someone who had the rough outline of Caprica already in his head. It was then converted for the BSG universe.
