Ramdino, because of you, and my name on the trail angel list, I helped 2 hikers who found a very distressed and starving cat, lovingly now known as “Tuna.” Tuna was rescued from near the Tucker’s Lane trailhead near Linden VA on May 20. Happy to help always even if it is not traditional trail angel stuff. Tuna is recovering in Maryland now after his stint on trail❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Camping in New Jersey and New York away from shelters is a little harder to find, but not impossible. Luckily there are sooo many awesome places that let you camp inbetween shelters like the Warwick drive in or the numerous delis.

Camping is much easier in NY than in New jersey. I really didn’t see many labeled campsites in Jersey that were north of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area.

Someday I will be at Trail days as a thru-hiker in 2028 when I retire! You're always an inspiration. But honestly, at least half of those people in that parade were not real thru- hikers. You can tell just by looking at their body habitus.
