Appalachian Trail SOBO Thru-Hike Day 20: Baldpates, Grafton Notch, and Old Speck

Day 20 on the AT had me climb up and over the Baldpates to Grafton Notch. After a nice long lunch I then also climbed Old Speck. I didn't go up the ladder on the summit, I thought I would get vertigo and die. Camped at Old Speck campsite and had my first experience setting up my trekking pole tent on a wooden platform.

You mentioned that you are a big sports fan and a Flyers fan so of course i thought about asking you your opinion on the new head coach John Tortorella. Love the flyers question. I honestly think he's a good coach and will make them compete higher than their actual talent level, which right now is probably bottom 5/10 in the league. I think the GM needs to go for a complete rebuild and torts might actually make the team too good to get fletcher fired. Thanks for all the support!
