Reflecting on our hike as we near the end has become a pattern since entering Maine. Maine has truly lived up to Happiest Known Time and we are grateful for the friends we made along the way.

08/11/23 So love your journey. Christian & a 60 mile day, hope he enjoyed it. Prefer your journey/hike. As a section hiker, I could watch your FOOTAGE endlessly. Good quality video. Excellent 100 mile wilderness videos. The ABOL Bridge campground - Yea. That ice cream looked excellent. Didn’t know about the Abol cabins. Thanks.

Thanks Jash....the "footage" at times can trip me up at times so glad some folks enjoy it.....Maine as a whole was spectacular.....the 100 mile was so beautiful. Great thing about sections is you get to pick time of year to go.....see more flowers etc....it's always different. Day by day here b4 we can start pumpn out plans for next adventure.....for now we'll cherish these moments. Thx for hangn with us. Happiest Known Time

What a great 100 mile wilderness experience! You sailed through it despite starting after being sideswiped right before. Katahdin so getting closer and closer. Can’t believe you hit the 25 miles to go this day. Nice you got a room the night before summiting. Nothing fancy but great to not set up the tent and air mattresses and have food cooked over the campfire. Hot dogs and beans were what my family always had camping. Also potato chips. We always ate health food cuz mom is diabetic so it felt special to have junk food like that. It’s still my happy place comfort food. Lol. And Moose tracks ice cream is yummy. Hope you get a great day up the mountain. Thanks for the scenery and frogs footage. You got a great day to wind up your adventure. HKT for sure
