I'd also like your thoughts on "AT Expectations versus Reality". What were thoughts on what the walk was going to be before you started? Was it close to what you're experiencing? Is it harder? Easier? About what you expected? How's your timetable? Have you adjusted your finish date? Or your vision for the hike?

Bluegrass, you’re a good man! Hated to think you guys were going to split up. I stayed at the Bird’s Nest hut and I did do the .3 to get water and it was straight downhill. When I came through a lot of the normal water sources were dry, but the spring down from Bird’s Nest was the best water in the whole park.
